Robbery Arrest

Friday night around 11:00 PM Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies met with the female victim of a robbery. The victim told deputies that she and a friend were walking on Borough Park Drive when a black male driving a red Chevrolet impala stole her cell phone when he claimed to have a pistol. The victim surrendered her phone and ran away unharmed to call police.
Around 5:30 AM the next morning deputies saw who they believed could be the suspect near the swimming pool in the Imperial Chase Apartments. Deputies called the stolen cell phone and heard the phone ring in the suspect’s pocket. Deputies arrested the suspect charging him with robbery and recovered the stolen cell phone.
