Last night, 6/24/10, the members of SIU along with Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Patrol Deputies executed a gambling search warrant in the 22000 block of Loop 494.
Once inside, 6 people were found gambling on the 8 liner machines along with the owner of the business.
During the warrant approximately $4460 was recovered, 2 arrest were made, 6 gambling tickets were issued and 40 mother boards were seized.

These arrests were from complaints from citizens who were upset their family members were losing large amounts of their pay checks and savings gambling on these types of machines.
This was a 2 month long investigation by SIU with assistance from Montgomery District Attorney’s office. Additional arrests are expected.
