The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) – At approximately 12:50 a.m. Sunday morning, emergency medical personnel and law enforcement were dispatched to a shooting call at The Cheesecake Factory.
At this point it appears the victims, two males, were shot with a shotgun at a location nearby. The two then made their way to the restaurant to seek help. One victim was apparently shot in the lower extremities and the other victim sustained minor shoulder and head wounds from the blast. Both victims were transported non-emergency by ground to a local hospital and were in good condition.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) personnel setup a perimeter a short distance away at 10001 Woodloch Forest Drive. Located within the perimeter, a 12-gauge shotgun shell casing could be seen up against a curb. What appeared to be a small pile of dark broken glass could also be seen.
Incidentally, the 10001 Woodloch Forest address is home to the main offices for The Woodlands Township.
In an effort to locate the suspects, MCSO Dispatch issued an attempt to locate for a dark colored four door truck believed to be involved in the incident.
At this point no suspects are in custody.
