MVA with Entrapment – Woodlands – Video

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on July 2, 2010, emergency personnel responded to a one vehicle MVA on Kuykendahl Road just north of Lake Woodlands Drive.

A Chevrolet truck, traveling northbound, lost control and collided with a tree.  The driver, a teen-aged male, became entrapped in the vehicle due to the force of the impact.

Rescue crews from The Woodlands Fire Department worked for approximately 40 minutes to free the driver.  Firefighters cut off the roof and removed one door during extrication.

It appears the driver suffered substantial damage to at least one lower extremity.  He was transported by ground to Hermann Memorial, The Woodlands.

A DPS trooper said the driver was wearing his seatbelt and alcohol did not appear to be a factor.  The road was wet and it was raining at the time of the incident.

Texas TakeDown is a new police show that focuses on Constable Kenneth "Rowdy" Hayden and his "Men in Black" as they fight crime in the badlands of East Montgomery County, Texas – a region flooded with crystal meth, drug dealers, and violence.

Travel with executive producers J. Andrew Lee & George Salazar as they capture the epic, ongoing struggle between Texas law enforcement and real-life outlaws in this new cop show that has everyone talking.

This episode: a brutal car crash, an assault, and a comically-tragic D.W.I. situation
