On Thursday July 1, 2010, at approximately 930 pm The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit served a search and arrest warrant at the Island Paradise Game room located in the 24000 Block of Hwy 59 North Porter, Texas. Twenty misdemeanor gambling citations were issued to customers and one employee was arrested for felony engaging in organized crime. More arrests are expected.

55 mother boards were seized from the 8 liner machines along with approximately 8,400 in US Currency and other gambling paraphernalia. SIU was assisted by the District 3 patrol, MCSO CID,MCFM and the MCDA office.
