On Friday July 2, 2010, at approximately 1 pm The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit served a narcotics search warrant at a residence located in the 20300 Block of Oak Shade Drive New Caney, Texas. The SIU received a TIP that marijuana was being grown and trafficked from this location. During the search of the residence approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine and approximately 5 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered within the residence. Forty seven marijuana plants were found growing in the yard.
