Just weeks after Deputy David Everton began his partnership with K9 “Ranger,” their teamwork paid off with the arrest of two people for drug possession and possession of stolen property.
July 14, 2010, Deputy Everton and “Ranger” were on patrol on Budde Road in South Montgomery County when they conducted a traffic stop. “Ranger” alerted that there was a presence of a narcotic.
Deputy Everton found inside the vehicle marijuana, soma, hydrocodone and zanax. He also found a lap top computer that had been reported stolen in Montgomery County in 2009.
The two occupants of the car were arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
