A Cleveland area mobile home fire, in the 300 block of Goode City Lane off of Highway 105 east, has claimed the lives of a mother and her 11 year old son. A 14 year old boy escaped the burning mobile home, and was transported to Herman Hospital in Houston with minor burns and smoke inhalation. Fire Fighters were called at around 11:30 pm Friday night, and arrived on location to find a mobile home fully engulfed with fire. After knocking down the flames, the bodies of the mother and son were located in the mother’s bedroom.
The deceased are as follows:
Serena Marie Dunn, age approximately 41
Dylan Lula, Serena’s son, age 12, 6th grade at Piney Woods Middle school
Survivor:
Dustin Dunn, age 14, a freshman at Splendora High School
The bodies of Serena Dunn and Dylan Lula will be taken to Dallas for an autopsy.
The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigation the cause of the fire.
There were no smoke detectors in the mobile home.
