MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 7-5-11

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On June 27, Deputy J. Hodges was sent to E. Emerson Circle for a family violence.  The Deputy met with a female complainant who said that her husband came out on the porch and wanted to know where the keys to the truck were. The male went inside the residence and returned with a small knife and deflated the tires on the truck. The female was struck several times by the suspect when she tried to stop him.  The 42 year old male from Conroe was arrested and taken to jail.

On June 27, Deputy S. Squier was notified of a family violence assault on Hunters Trail Drive.  A female was assaulting her adult daughters and was being held down by her husband.  The 38 year old woman from Conroe and transported to jail.

On June 28, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of FM 1485 and Lakewood Drive.  The driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The 29 year old male from Conroe was arrested and transported to jail.

A 47 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:55pm, June 29  in the 10200 block of Longmire Road by Deputy J. Kader for an assault causes bodily injury warrant out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance.  The male was taken to jail.

A 29 year old female from Willis was arrested at 6:03pm, June 30, in the 300 block of Paddock Street by Deputy J. Hodges for three traffic warrants out of Willis PD. The Deputy was investigating a welfare concern.

On July 1, Deputy S. Degner stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 9700 block of FM 1097.  The vehicle had been swerving and was being driven without headlights on.  The female driver was found to be intoxicated.  The 18 year old female from Montgomery was arrested and charged with DWI and taken to jail.

On July 2, Deputy S. Degner stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of FM 1097 and I-45.  The female driver was found to be intoxicated.  The 29 year old female from Montgomery was arrested at 2:24am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.

On July 2, Deputies K. Berger and T. Thomas were called to Maxwell Dr. in reference to a disturbance.  The Deputies met with a male and female who advised they were threatened by their son and that he had threatened to harm himself.  The 23 year old male from Willis was arrested at 10:45pm for interference with an emergency call and transported to jail.

On July 3, Deputy C. Santoro was dispatched to the 13700 block of FM 1314 in reference to a welfare concern.  The Deputy located an intoxicated male passed out in a vehicle.  The 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On June 26th Deputy Sibille responded to the 25000 block of Interstate 45, in regards to a suspicious person.  Upon arrival the deputy saw a man staggering in the parking lot and entered restaurant. The male from Spring, was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail Annex.

On June 25th Deputy Knight was dispatched to Springwood Dr. in regards to a Disturbance. The complainant told deputies that their roommate threw furniture and tore items up in the residence. The complainant ran to a bedroom and the suspect was yelling threats.  The complainant stated that the suspect had been using cocaine and was getting violent.  The roommate was arrested for Terroristic Threat and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail.

On July 25th Deputy Fruge was dispatched to Bear Branch Lane, in regards to an Assault Family Violence. Upon arrival, Deputies spoke to the complainant who stated that the suspect had slapped her and then she ran to a neighbor’s house for safety. The suspect was arrested for Assault, Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

July 27th Deputy Fruge stopped and spoke with a male on Brookhaven Street and believed the male was provided a fictitious name.  The male appeared nervous and called his mother.  Deputies learned the male’s identity and found that he had a warrant for Driving While Intoxicated.  The suspect’s mother arrived and attempted to interfere and failed to obey orders.  The mother was detained after a brief struggle.  Deputies found that the mother had an active warrant for Interference with Public Duties.  Both were arrested on the outstanding warrants.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 6/29/11 Sgt. Kendrick went to an address in the 22000 block of Baptist Encampment to serve a warrant.  Upon arrival he located the female that had two out of county forgery warrants.  The suspect, a 28 year old female from new Caney was arrested without incident.

On 6/29/11 Deputy White was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a shoplifter.  Upon arrival he learned the suspect had attempted to exit the store with an LCD Television without paying for it.  The suspect was then detained by loss prevention.  The suspect, a 25 year old male from Magnolia was arrested and charged with Theft.

On 6/29/11 Deputy Logan was dispatched to Oak Creek Cir in reference to a family violence call.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had assaulted and strangled his wife.  The suspect, a 34 year old male from Splendora was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence Strangulation, a 3rd degree felony.

On 6/29/11 Deputy Lebeau was dispatched to Shady Ln. in reference to a disturbance.  Upon his arrival he made contact with a suspect that was found to have several warrants for Theft by Check.  The suspect, a 52 year old female from Porter was arrested without incident.

On 6/30/11 Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to Stevens Lane in reference to a disturbance. Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had threatened to kill the victim and produced a knife.  The suspect, a 38 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

On 6/30/11 Deputy Holden located a female at Hwy 59 @ FM 1314.  Upon checking the female for warrants she was found to be wanted for parole violation.  The suspect, a 44 year old female from new Caney was arrested.

On 6/30/11 Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 23000 block of Hwy. 59 on a welfare check.  Upon his arrival he observed two individuals behind a privacy fence and in a retention pond.  Upon interviewing the subjects he found them to be intoxicated.  Both were arrested.  An 18 year old male and 21 year old female were both arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 6/30/11 Deputy White went to the 18000 block of Holly Berry Ct. in reference to trying to serve a warrant. Upon his arrival he did not locate the subject he was looking for but another male was on location that had an outstanding warrant.  The suspect, an 18 year old male from Porter, was arrested.

On 6/30/11 Deputy Logan conducted a traffic stop.  Upon identifying the driver he was determined to have a suspended license.  The suspect, a 31 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On 7/1/11 Deputy Amstutz received a call in reference to a Theft.  The complainant advised he had property stolen and pawned by the suspect.  After a short investigation it was learned that the complainant gave a false statement to police and had loaned the property to the other individual.  The complainant now suspect, a 26 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with False Report to a Peace Officer.

On 7/1/11 Deputy Dunn conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 59 @ FM 1314.  Upon making contact with the driver she was found to have an active traffic warrant.  The suspect, a 31 year old female from new Caney was arrested without incident.

On 7/1/11 Deputy Pickerill was flagged down in the 23000 block of E. Community Drive reference to two males stealing scrap metal.  The Deputy located the vehicle they had just left in and conducted a traffic stop.  Both male suspects ages 46 and 33 were arrested and charged with Felony Theft.

On 7/2/11 Deputy Birch was dispatched to a family violence on FM 1485.  Upon arrival he made contact with both husband and wife and both were found to have outstanding traffic warrants and both were taken into custody.  In investigating the disturbance it was found that wife had assaulted her husband.  She was additionally charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 7/2/11 Deputy Dunn conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle.  Upon the driver exiting the vehicle he was observed to have a bulge in his front pant pocket.  The bundle was found to be pills of Xanax.  The suspect, a 30 year old male from Deerpark was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 7/3/11 Deputy Jackson was dispatched to Oak Creek Lane in reference to a family violence.  Upon arrival the deputy found that the husband had left the residence but had an active protective order and was prohibited to be at the residence.  The suspect, a 34 year old male from Splendora was arrested and charged with Violation of a Protective Order.

On 7/3/11 Deputy Azwell met with Humble Police where they had a subject detained that had an active Montgomery County warrant for Assault.  The suspect, a 37 year old male from Humble was arrested and transported without incident.

On 7/4/11 Deputy Carson was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifter.  Upon arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to steal over $50 worth of video games and was detained by loss prevention.  The charge was upgraded to a felony due to previous convictions.  The suspect was a 40 year old male from Houston.

On 7/4/11 Sgt. Kendrick met with Humble Police where they had a subject detained that had an active Montgomery County order of arrest warrant.  The subject, a 33 year old male from Houston was arrested without incident.

On 7/4/11 Deputy Rippley was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a shoplifter.  Upon her arrival it was found the suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise.  The charge was enhanced to felony due to the suspect having previous convictions.  The suspect, a 38 year old male from Cleveland was charged with Felony Theft.

On 7/5/11 Deputy Carson was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a shoplifter.  Upon arrival he learned that the suspect had consumed food while in the store and exited the store without paying.  The charge was enhanced to a Felony due to the suspect having previous convictions.  The suspect, a 29 year old female from Porter was arrested and charged with Felony Theft.

On 7/6/11 Deputy Logan was dispatched to Split Oak Dr. in reference to an Assault Family Violence.  Upon arrival the deputy determined that the husband had assaulted his wife.  The suspect, a 25 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On July 4th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to Hall Drive in Magnolia in reference to a Family Violence.  The suspect arrived home intoxicated and began an argument.  While trying to stop the suspect the suspect and his friend both fell into a wall breaking the sheet rock.  The suspect admitted to drinking and was intoxicated.  The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

On July 3rd Deputy Crandell responded to a Disturbance Call on Veterans Road in Magnolia.  The deputy found that one of the parties was wanted for Failure to appear for Court Ordered Commitment in reference to Child Support.  Deputy Crandell placed the subject into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On July 2nd Deputy Durbin observed a white passenger car traveling west on FM 1488.  The vehicle failed to stop at an intersection. A check of the 31 year old female’s driving record revealed two previous convictions for driving while license suspended.  Deputy Durbin placed the female subject into custody for DWLS and took her to jail.

On June 30th Deputy Durbin was dispatched to a Theft in Progress on FM 2978 in Magnolia.  Upon arrival Deputy Durbin met with the Complainant who advised one of his employees spotted an 18 year old male carrying a bucket.  The Complainant and his employees stopped the subject and detained him until Deputies arrived.  The bucket contained items from the Complainant’s business.  The subject was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On June 29th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to Peden Road in Magnolia in reference to a Family Violence.  Deputy Tavarez found that a 28 year old male had two outstanding warrants for Theft by Check through Harris County.  The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On June 29th Deputy Tavarez was dispatched to Primerose Drive in reference to a Suspicious Person.  Upon arrival Deputy Tavarez met with a 28 year old male and found that the subject had an outstanding warrant for Assault Causes Bodily Injury.  The subject was arrested and taken to jail.

On June 27th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Turtle Creek subdivision in reference to a Family Violence.  A 71 year old male was at this location with his wife when he tried to take some of his wife’s pain medication.  His 67 year old wife tried to stop him and he hit her.  The male was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

June 29th Deputy Thompson responded to Paradise Ln. in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that a male and female were assaulted by another family member. Minor injuries were sustained but did not require medical attention. The female was arrested on two charges of Assault (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

June 30th Deputy Farmer was dispatched to N. Mount Mariah Rd. in regards to a Disturbance. Officers were directed by witnesses to male walking down the road.  It was determined that the suspect was intoxicated and he was arrested for Public Intoxication.

July 2nd Deputy Davis was dispatched to the intersection of Rabon Chapel and S. Pine Lake in regards to a Welfare Concern of a male observed standing in the middle of the street. The male was highly intoxicated and was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County jail.

July 2nd Deputy Howze responded to a residence on Lake Point Blvd in regards to Theft. The Complainant reported that his motorized Scooter had been stolen sometime during the night. This case is under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force.

July 3rd Deputy Davis conducted a Traffic Stop on SH 105 W. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspicioned that the driver may be intoxicated. Several standard field sobriety tests were administered and the driver was arrested for Driving While intoxicated (2nd Offense) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

Woodlands (District 6) Zone Map

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On 06/26/11 a Deputy Hardin stopped a vehicle for expired Inspection in the 26000 Block of Glenloch.  The driver a 40 year old male from The Woodlands was arrested for an Open Capias Warrant.  The male was placed in custody and transported to jail in Conroe.

On 06/23/11, Deputy Martin received information in reference to the sale of narcotics.  A traffic stop was made on the vehicle.  Narcotics were found inside the vehicle.  The information gathered was used to obtain a search warrant for a nearby residence. The search warrant was served and Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Ecstasy were seized.  Two people were arrested and one was on parole.

On 07/02/11, Deputy Martin observed suspicious individuals at 1201 Lake Woodlands.  While conducting an investigation, Deputy Martin found that the two males had drug paraphernalia.  Citations were issued and a 17 year old male was arrested for Criminal Trespass.

On 07/02/11, Deputy Marshall was working traffic detail in the 4700 block of West Panther Creek when she observed a green Honda passenger car run a red light.  The vehicle was stopped and the male driver, a 19 year old Shenandoah resident fled on foot.  Follow up investigation on the male showed that his license was suspended.  On 07/04/11 the male was booked on Evading Arrest and Driving While License Suspended after the deputy obtained a warrant.

On 07/04/11 Deputy Cranston was dispatched to a residence on Tangle Brush Drive in reference to a Family Violence.  After investigating the incident a 31 year old male was arrested for Assault Family Violence (Choking).  The male transported and booked in at the jail in Conroe.

On 07/06/11, Deputy Prince was dispatched to Rain Forest Drive in The Woodlands in reference to a Family Violence.  After investigation the call a 29 year old Woodlands male was arrested for Family Violence as well as an Active Warrant.

On 07/07/11, Sergeant Sumrall observed a silver passenger car speeding on Woodlands Parkway.  The vehicle was stopped and contact was made with the driver.  Upon investigation it was determined that the male was under the influence of an intoxicating beverage.  The driver, a 39 year old Spring resident was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
