MCSO Press Release – Home Invasion Robbery, Woodlands (Updated)

Update: 3:00 p.m. 

Late this morning Sergeant P. Viands saw an unoccupied black Range Rover backed into a parking space in the Timbermill Apartments on Sawdust Road in South Montgomery County. When the deputy investigated he found the vehicle that had been stolen from the residence on Misty Grove Circle last night.

The vehicle was taken to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Conroe where Crime Lab Investigators and detectives will examine it for evidence.

Original Press Release

Late last night at approximately 10:30 PM the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a robbery that had just occurred at a residence on Misty Grove Circle in Grogan’s Point in The Woodlands.

When deputies arrived they learned from the 52 year-old homeowner that two men with weapons came into the home through the back door. Both men were dressed all in black with masks covering their faces and both were wearing gloves. The suspects forced the homeowner and his girlfriend to lie on the floor as they took jewelry and other items from the home. Before leaving the home the suspects took both victims cell phones and the women’s purse.

The suspects put the stolen items into the homeowner’s 2011 black Land Rover and left in the vehicle. No other vehicle was seen by the victims.

Even before deputies arrived at the home, deputies converged into the area looking for the stolen vehicle and the suspects but they were not found.
