MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 10-25-11

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On October 18, Deputy C. Santoro was sent to a residence on Roy Harris Loop in reference to a family violence assault call.  Deputy K. Underwood spoke with a female who had been assaulted by her husband.  Deputy Santoro located the actor’s vehicle on Hwy 105E and attempted to stop the vehicle.  The driver failed to stop for the Deputy who followed the vehicle to Crystal Forest Drive.  The 41 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:24pm, charged with assault and evading with a vehicle, and taken to jail.

A 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:22am, October 19, and taken to jail from Five Guinea Lane by Deputy J. Hodges for a parole violation warrant issued out of TDCJ.  The Deputy was on a warrant service.

On October 21, Deputy K. Underwood was notified of a terroristic threat call on Stonehedge Drive.  The Deputy met with a female who said that her ex-boyfriend had been threatening to kill her if they did not get back together.  The Deputy was following the female to her residence when the suspect was seen driving down the road erratically and then stopping in the middle of the road not allowing vehicles behind him to pass.  The 54 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:28pm, charged with DWI and terroristic threat, and transported to jail.

On October 22, Deputy S. Degner responded to the 17600 block of FM 2090 in reference to a vehicle in the ditch.  The Deputy located the vehicle still running with the male driver who was passed out.  The driver was found to be intoxicated. The 20 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:00am, charged with DWI and driving with license invalid, and transported to jail.

On October 22, Deputy K. Underwood stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Hwy 105E and N. Walker Road.  The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  The 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:17pm and transported to jail.

A 22 year old male from Willis was arrested at7:14pm, October 23, and taken to jail from the 200 block of E. Watson by Deputy C. Santoro for a theft by check warrant and a theft warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a harassment call.

A 25 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 8:01pm, October 23, and taken to jail from the 21500 block of Hwy 105E by Deputy K. Underwood for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 10/21/11, Deputies responded to assist Harris County Sheriff Office on a disturbance which originated in the 25000 block of IH45. Upon further investigation it was learned the victim drove into Harris County and summoned help after a male fired a weapon in his direction while leaving a bar. The male was stopped and detained by Harris County authorities. A handgun was recovered from the suspect’s vehicle. One person was arrested.

On 10/22/11, a Deputy observed a vehicle in the 25000 block of IH45 feeder road traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking to the driver the deputy could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. The Deputy conducted a field sobriety test. It was determined the 46 yoa male from Houston was intoxicated and was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

On 10/22/11, a deputy  responded to shoplifters  detained by loss prevention at Wal-Mart on Sawdust Road. A 23 yoa female and 51 yoa female, both from Houston, were taken into custody for theft.

On 10/23/11, Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 25000 block of IH45. Upon arrival three males were detained. A 23 yoa male from Houston, was found to be in possession of a firearm and was taken into custody. A 21 yoa male and a 22 yoa male, also from Houston, were taken into custody for Public intoxication.

On 10/18/11, Deputies responded to the 3500 block of Fuller Bluff on a report of a male spray painting a vehicle. A witness led Deputies to the residence where the suspect was last seen. Upon investigating a male suspect was arrested and an aerosol paint can was recovered. The 18 yoa male from The Woodlands, was taken into custody for Graffiti.

On 10/18/11, Deputies responded to a residence. Upon further investigation it was learned that juvenile female had assaulted and injured her mother. The 16 yoa female from Conroe, was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence.

On 10/21/11, Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 25000 block of IH45 where a male was running in and out of traffic on the roadway. Deputies found the male in the 25000 block of Borough Park Drive where it was learned he was involved in a disturbance at a nearby restaurant. The 22 yoa male from Spring showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 10/19/11, Deputy Logan was dispatched to the 23900 Block of FM 1314 in Porter, Texas in reference to a Welfare Concern on a Female that was located passed out in her vehicle at a local shopping center.  The 29 year old female was arrested for Public intoxication.

On 10/20/11, Deputy Logan was dispatched to a residence on FM 2090 in Splendora.  During the investigation two of the persons involved, a 28 YOA White Male and a 25 YOA White Male, were found to have multiple warrants for their arrests that ranged from Class C to Felony(s).  These warrants were confirmed and both male subjects were arrested.

On 10/21/11, Deputy Smith was dispatched to Iris Drive in Porter, Texas in reference to an Assault.  Investigation revealed that a 30 YOA White Male assaulted his girlfriend during an argument.  The male was arrested for Assault- Family Violence and transported to jail without incident.

On 10/21/11, Deputy Holden was dispatched to Melanie Lane in Splendora , Texas in reference to an Assault.  Upon arrival, investigation revealed that a 40 YOA White Male had assaulted complainant over a debt.  The male was arrested for assault and transported to jail without incident.

On 10/21/11, Deputy Carson was dispatched to the area of Mexican John and Forest Lane in New Caney, Texas.  While checking the area, Deputy Carson located a vehicle occupied by a 25 YOA Hispanic Male who was passed out.  Upon investigation it was determined the suspect was intoxicated.   Subject was also found to have an outstanding warrant.  Subject was arrested and transported to jail.

On 10/21/11, Deputy Holden was dispatched to Duke Road in Splendora, Texas in reference to a Family Violence in Progress.  Investigation revealed that a 31 YOA White Female assaulted her boyfriend.  Female was arrested for Assault M-A family Violence and was transported to jail without incident.

On 10/22/11, Deputy LeBeau made a warrant arrest on a Civil Contempt Charge where the 30 YOA White Male subject summoned the Sheriff’s Office to come get him. Upon arrival, the warrant was confirmed and arrest was made as he was transported to jail without incident.

On 10/23/11, Deputy Holden saw a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend where the female was chasing the male.  Upon investigation, Deputy Holden found that the 18 YOA White Male and his girlfriend had an argument.  Upon checking on the male, he was found to have an outstanding warrant.  The male was arrested and transported to East County Jail without incident.

On 10/23/11, Deputy Everton K-9 Unit made a traffic stop at the 11900 Block of US Highway 59.  A check of the driver, a 38 YOA White Male was found to have out of county warrants which were confirmed as the subject was arrested and taken to jail without incident.

On 10/24/11, Deputy’s Burk and Walker were dispatched to Anmar Drive in reference to a Disturbance.  During the investigation, a 33 YOA White Female complained of injuries but when EMS Medics attempted to assist her, she began to curse and yelled, “Take me to jail.” She was arrested for Public Intoxication and taken to jail.

On 10/25/11, Deputy Sherlock made a traffic stop in the area of Loop 494 and Community in New Caney, Texas at which time it was found that one of the occupants a 35 YOA White Male had an open warrant.  The male described was arrested.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On October 23rd Deputy Crandell responded to Porter Road.  The Complainant called advising her ex-boyfriend was at her home and he was wanted for Warrant for Lack of Child Support.   The 37 year old suspect on the back porch of the residence and ran when he saw the deputy.  The Deputy ordered him to stop at which time the subject did and he was placed into custody.

On October 23rd Deputy Irvine was dispatched to Timberloch Estates subdivision in reference to a Disturbance.  A 35 year old female stated her 13 year old son was at a neighbor’s house and refused to come home.  Deputy Irvine met with the neighbor who said the child came to their home and said that his mother and father were fighting.  The deputy found the father and saw that he had visible cuts and abrasions. The mother was arrested for assault.

On October 23rd Deputy Mittag was dispatched to the Clear Creek Subdivision.  Upon arrival the Deputy observed a 32 year old male suspect standing outside a residence yelling threats.  The Deputy could smell a strong odor of an alcohol.  The suspect was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On October 22nd Deputy Crandell found vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on FM 1774. The driver was slumped over the driver’s seat with both doors unlocked.  The deputy saw a clear plastic bag containing Marijuana in the car.  During a search of the vehicle Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Bitartrate pills a Schedule 3 Controlled Substance were found.  The subject was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On October 18th Deputy Irvine was dispatched to the Oakwood Acres subdivision in reference to a Welfare Check.  Upon arrival Deputy Irvine heard what sound like kids yelling and playing from a nearby residence.   The deputy spoke with 36 year old female who was sitting near a trampoline where kids were playing and he saw that she had to two small plastic bags.  One bag had Marijuana and the other had Soma. The subject was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. 

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

October 19th Deputy Fluellen responded to 15200 block of SH 105W in regards to a Disturbance. Investigation revealed that an intoxicated male had assaulted another patron. After obtaining several witness statements regarding the incident, the intoxicated male was arrested for Assault and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

October 19th Deputy Rex made contact with the male occupant of a vehicle parked alongside the 13500 block of SH 105W. The male appeared to be passed out and had what appeared to be narcotics lying in his lap. The male was awakened and upon further investigation officers found that the subject was in possession of several type narcotics. The subject was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

October 20th Deputy Garlock responded to the 16800 block of Rabon Chapel in regards to a Warrant Service. Upon arrival officers located the male subject in question at which time he was arrested on the outstanding warrant for Criminal Non Support and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

October 21st Deputy Davis conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle in the 7500 block of Adoue Rd. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspicioned the individual may be intoxicated. After performing poorly on several standard field sobriety rests the subject was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

October 22nd Deputy Pugh was dispatched to W. Lynbrook Road in regards to a Disturbance. It was reported that two male neighbors had been involved in a verbal disturbance and one of the males was intoxicated and wandering the neighborhood. The intoxicated suspect was located a short time later and arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On October 19, 2011, Deputy Prince assisted Sr. Sergeant Ford with a Welfare Check on a vehicle Sr. Sergeant Ford observed pulling into the Shell Station on Buckthorne Place with two flat tires.  After making contact with the driver, a 62-year-old male from The Woodlands, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 20, 2011, Deputy Drake conducted a traffic stop on Gosling Road.  During the course of the traffic stop, the passenger, 20-year-old male from Conroe, was found to have two warrants for his arrest.  Deputy Drake attempted to take the suspect into custody but the suspect actively resisted but was restrained and arrested.  The suspect was found to be in possession of a white crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.  The suspect was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest in addition to the warrants.

On October 20, 2011, Deputy Ross responded to a Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive.  The suspect, a 58-year-old female from The Woodlands, attempted to take $969 worth of clothing from Macy’s Department Store.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. 

On October 20, 2011, Deputy Ansley responded to a Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive.  The suspect, a 22-year-old male from Lyn, TX, attempted to take $98 worth of merchandise from Macy’s Department Store.  The suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident and charged with Theft.

On October 20, 2011, Deputy Drake and Deputy Uber initiated a traffic stop on Timberloch Place.  During the course of the traffic stop, the driver, a 26-year-old male from Katy, was found to be in possession of  a small amount of marijuana.  The driver was taken into custody, transported to the Montgomery County Jail, and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

On October 21, 2011, Deputy Prince assisted Sergeant Sumrall with a traffic stop on Research Forest.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Prince determined that the driver, a 21-year-old female from Conroe, was intoxicated.  The driver was taken into custody, transported to the Montgomery County Jail, and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On October 21, 2011, Deputy Weatherford was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a transport for Deputy Martin, who had the suspect, a 17-year-old male from Conroe, in custody for an Assault Warrant.  Upon arrival at the jail, the suspect was found to have marijuana hidden on his person.  The suspect was charged with Possession of Marijuana.

On October 21, 2011, Deputy Schutzenhofer saw suspicious activity from the staircase on the upper floor of  a  parking garage.  When he went to investigate several juvenile males ran from him.  Deputy Schutzenhofer located them on the ground level behind a dumpster and again identified himself as a police officer and the boys ran again.  After a short foot chase, one of the juveniles, 12-year-old male from Spring, was caught by the deputy and the other three, a 13-year-old male from Conroe, an 11-year-old male from Spring and a 12-year-old male from Spring, were detained by other responding deputies.  The four boys were taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Facility.

On October 22, 2011, Deputy Uber arrested a 31-year-old male from Houston after a traffic stop on Grogan’s Mill.  The suspect was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.

On October 22, 2011, Deputy Uber arrested at 22-year-old male from Stafford after a traffic stop on Grogan’s Mill.  The suspect was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On October 22, 2011, Deputy Hardin was dispatched to a Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive.  The suspects, a 17-year-old female from Spring and a 17-year-old female from Conroe, attempted to take $217.89 of merchandise from Sears.  The suspect were transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Theft.

On October 23, 2011, Deputy Borchardt arrested a 47-year-old male from Montgomery for Driving While Intoxicated after a traffic stop on FM 1488 and Mansions Blvd.  The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
