MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 3-20-12

MCSO District Map

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:13am, March 12, and taken to jail from a residence on Jeffcote Road by Deputy Z. Winford for two traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 3. 

On March 12, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 13100 block of S. Leeshore Drive. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  The 53 year old male from Willis was arrested and taken to jail.

On March 13, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 12400 block of FM 3083. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  The 44 year old male from Conroe was arrested and taken to jail.

On March 14, Deputy J. West was sent to a location on Fawnmist Court in reference to a disturbance involving four wheelers.  The Deputy located 3 men involved in the disturbance and found all to be intoxicated.  The three males, ages 23, 26 and 35, all from Conroe, were arrested at 11:29pm, charged with public intoxication and taken to jail.

A 17 year old female from Willis was arrested at 3:18pm, March 14, and taken to jail from a residence on Vistawood by Deputy A. Booher for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County.

On March 15, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 24600 block of I-45.  The male driver was found to be intoxicated.  The 19 year old male from Magnolia was arrested at 2:50am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.

On March 16, Deputy S. Degner stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 900 block of FM 1097.  The female driver was found to be intoxicated.  The 26 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:51pm and charged with two counts of DWI (felony) with child in vehicle.  She was taken to jail.  The children were released to the grandmother.

On March 17, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 4100 block of N. Frazier. The 24 year old male driver from Willis was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. He was arrested at 5:06am and taken to jail.

A 19 year old male from Willis was arrested at 6:45am, March 18, and taken to jail from the area of Kingston Cove and Park View by Sgt. C. Rogers for a motion to revoke probation warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been involved in a disturbance and was stopped after leaving the scene.

On March 18, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 2300 block of FM 3083.  The female driver was found to be intoxicated and also driving with an invalid driver’s license. It was also found that the female had an outstanding warrant out of Montgomery County for an accident involving damage to a vehicle. The 30 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:00pm and transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 03-18-12 at approximately 0230, Deputy Logan was dispatched to an assault call on Pruitt Rd.  Deputy Logan met with the Complainant from Houston.  Upon contact with the subject, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  Deputy Logan arrested the male for Public Intoxication and transported him to MCSO Jail.

On 03-14-12 at approximately 0204, Deputy Logan was dispatched to a welfare check on Valleywood Dr.  He observed a White male walking in the apartment complex.  Upon contact with the male, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 03-17-12 at approximately 0053, Deputy Logan was dispatched to a disturbance call on W. Timberloch Trail.  Upon his arrival, he made contact with a White male.  He observed the male to be intoxicated.  The male was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 03-15-12 at approximately 1740, Deputy Meredith received a family violence in progress call on Garrison Run Dr.  Upon his investigation, it was learned the wife of the Complainant had assaulted him.  The wife, a White female from Spring, was arrested for Assault Family Violence and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 03-15-12 at approximately 0700, Deputy Fruge received a welfare check on Hilcrest Dr.  Upon his arrival, he met with the reportee who advised that a male was passed out inside a portable trailer.  The subject was arrested for numerous warrants.  He was transported to MCSO Jail.

On 03-17-12 at approximately 1050, Deputy Flynn received a suspicious person call on Blue Lake Dr.  Deputy Flynn located the subject, a White male from Tomball, staggering down Blue Lake Dr.  Upon contact with the subject, it was determined the subject was intoxicated.  He was arrested and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 03-17-12 at approximately 2215, Deputy Logan responded to an attempt to locate on a vehicle traveling West on Sawdust Rd.  Deputy Logan located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  Upon contact with the driver from Spring, it was determined that he was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  The driver was arrested for DWI and transported to MCSO Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 3/17/12 Deputy Logan was dispatched to an address on Tram Rd. in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival he met with the complainant and suspect and found that the suspect had drove his vehicle off the road and struck a fence causing $3,500 damage.  The suspect, a 61 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief.

On 3/17/12 Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to Players Bar on Loop 494 in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival he made contact with the complainant and learned that the suspect was intoxicated and could not pay his bar tab.  The suspect further refused to pay and said he would sit it out in jail.  The suspect, a 23 year old male from Splendora was arrested and charged with Theft of Service.

On 3/17/12 Deputy Durrenberger was on patrol on Lakewood Dr. and he observed a person running around a building.  The male then ran out toward the patrol vehicle, dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head.  The male appeared intoxicated and was disoriented and said he was walking to a friend’s house and didn’t know where he was goin.  The male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 3/18/12 Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to an address on Morgan Dr. in reference to a Welfare Check.  Upon arrival he observed a male standing in the roadway that appeared to have trouble walking.  Upon speaking with the make it was found that he was intoxicated and admitted to also have been smoking marijuana.  The suspect, a 24 year old male from Splendora was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 3/18/12 Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to an address on Russell Dr. in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival he made contact with one of the parties involved in the disturbance who was sitting in a ditch.  Upon speaking with the male it was found he was intoxicated and causing a disturbance.  The suspect, a 52 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 3/19/12 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to an address on N. Red Oak in reference to a Family Disturbance.  Upon arrival he met with the victim and learned that the suspect had pushed him and slammed a door on him.  The suspect, a 43 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

Warrants Served

On 3/16/12 Deputy Trammel arrested a 30 year old male from Humble for a Failure to Appear warrant.

On 3/17/12 Deputy Ashmore arrested a 46 year old male from New Caney for a Bail Jumping and Bond Forfeiture warrant.

On 3/16/12 Deputy Burk arrested a 27 year old male from Conroe for a 5 outstanding traffic related warrants.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On March 19th Deputy Overbay found a 21 year old male in reference to Suspicious Activity.  The deputy found that the subject had an Active Warrant.  The subject was placed into custody and transported the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On March 18th Deputy Brummett was dispatched to a residence on Nichols Sawmill in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival Deputy Brummett met with a witness who saw a male in a car throw a beer bottle.  There was also a strong odor of alcohol.  The subject was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and a Citation issued for Minor in Possession.

On March 18th Sergeant Kader was on Golden Rod Lane in reference to a Welfare Check.  The Sergeant identified a 26 year old female while on scene and was made aware of an Active Warrant.  The subject was placed into custody and transported the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On March 16th Deputy Mittag was dispatched to a residence on Stagecoach Road in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant and her husband and witnesses.  A witness stated he saw the couple arguing but saw no physical contact.  Upon checking the witness ID it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear on Traffic Violations.  Deputy Mittag placed the subject into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On March 13th Deputy Brummett was dispatched to N Pine Ct in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival the Deputy met with two brothers.  During the investigation one brother ran into the house and shut a door.  Deputies arrested the suspect but were meet with physical resistance.  The suspect was charged with Resisting Arrest/Detention. 

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

March 14th Deputy Favorat responded to Denn Rd to a Burglary. The Complainant reported that someone forced entry into his residence while he was away and stole a wall mounted air conditioner. This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

March 14th Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 2000 block of Old River Road. Upon making contact with the male driver it was learned that his driver’s license was suspended. In addition the subject had an outstanding warrant for Criminal non-support. The subject was arrested on both charges and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

March 15th Deputy Treille was dispatched to East Park Dr. in regards to Burglary. The Complainant reported that someone forced entry into their home and stole numerous items to include, jewelry and computer equipment. This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

March 16th Deputy Pugh responded to Post Oak Cemetery Rd. about Narcotics Activity. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male subject standing in a detached garage. The male lived nearby and was found to be in possession of Marijuana. The subject was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

March 17th Deputy Garner responded to an establishment in the 14500 block of SH 105W for an Assault. The female Complainant reported that she and another female had been involved in dispute over business matters and the Complainant was assaulted. Injuries were minor. The female Suspect was cited for Assault (by contact) with the case being referred to the JP Court for final disposition.

Woodlands (District 6) Zone Map

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On March 14 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Deputy Jordan and Sgt. Varnell were dispatched to a vacant home on Green Blade Drive in reference to juveniles entering the residence.  Upon arrival, Deputy Jordan and Sgt. Varnell found three individuals inside.  During the course of the investigation one of the suspects, a 19-year-old male from Spring, was found to be in possession of marijuana.  The suspect was taken into custody and also had three outstanding warrants.  A second suspect, a 14-year-old from The Woodlands received a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was released to parents.

On March 15 at approximately 2 a.m., Deputy Prince arrested a 19-year-old male from Spring after a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway.  During the course of the stop, the suspect was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 15 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Deputy Gaeke was dispatched to assist Sgt. Jenkins at Alden Bridge Park with a suspicious vehicle.  Sgt. Jenkins observed the vehicle in the parking lot after park closing hours.  During the course of the investigation, the suspect, a 19-year-old male from Spring, was found to have a small amount of marijuana.  Deputy Gaeke placed the suspect in custody for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 17 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Deputy Prince responded to an assist call from Deputy Clifton in the area of Pine Lane and FM 2978.  Deputy Clifton observed a vehicle blocking traffic and the two suspects standing in the median arguing.  The suspects, a 22-year-old female and a 25-year-old male both from Houston were found to be intoxicated and that both had driven the vehicle.  Both suspects were taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 17 at approximately 8 p.m., Deputy Prince assisted Deputy Curtis with a traffic stop on Timberloch Drive.  Deputy Curtis initiated the traffic stop when he observed the vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Timberloch Drive.  During the course of the investigation, Deputy Prince determined that the suspect, a 27-year-old male from The Woodlands, was intoxicated.  The suspect was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 18 at approximately 1:10 a.m., Deputy O’Connor conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 Block of Lake Woodlands.  During the course of the traffic stop, the driver, 55-year-old female from The Woodlands, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.  She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On March 18 at approximately 1:15 a.m., Deputy Prince responded to assist Deputy Clifton with a traffic stop on Sawdust Road.  Deputy Clifton observed the suspect vehicle travel into oncoming traffic lanes.  The suspect, a 26-year-old female from Waller, was found to be intoxicated.  The suspect was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, taken into custody, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On March 18 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Deputy Breeze conducted a traffic stop on Timberloch Place.  The driver, a 23-year-old male from Spring, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
