MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 4-10-12

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 29 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:41am, April 3, and taken to jail from a residence on E. Stewart by Deputy J. West for three warrants out of Montgomery County. The male was also found to be in possession of marijuana.  A second male on location, 30 years old, from Willis, was arrested and taken to jail for a DWI warrant out of Montgomery County.

A 31 year old male from Dayton was arrested at 7:54pm, April 3, and taken to jail from an area near the 100 mile marker on I-45 by Deputy Z. Winford for a probation violation warrant out of Liberty County.  The Deputy was on a welfare concern on the male walking near the interstate.

A 41 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:30am, April 4, and taken to jail from the 16200 block of Hwy 75N by Deputy J. Henson for two motion to revoke probation warrants out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was assisting EMS on an accident scene.

On April 5, Deputy J. Bourne was sent to a residence on Red Stag Court in reference to a family violence assault.  The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her female roommate had returned to the residence to remove items.  The female suspect grabbed the complainant by the hair and dragged her across the room. The 18 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:33pm, charged with assault and also a motion to revoke probation warrant out of Montgomery County and taken to jail.

On April 6, Deputy A. Booher responded to a location on Balsam in reference to an intoxicated male and female.  The Deputy located the male staggering down the road and the female was kneeling beside a vehicle as she was unsteady on her feet.  The 50 year old male and 41 year old female, both from Willis, were arrested at 10:08am and transported to jail.

On April 6, Deputy R. Stein was dispatched to a residence on Meadow Lake Drive in reference to a family violence assault.  The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he was mowing the lawn when his mother came out and stopped him and slapped him five times on the face.  The 74 year old female from Cleveland was arrested and transported to jail.

On April 6, Deputy C. Santoro was notified of a suspicious person call in the 16200 block of Hwy 75N.  The Deputy located an intoxicated male staggering down the roadway.  The 25 year old male from Willis was arrested at 10:39pm and transported to jail.

On April 7, Deputy C. Santoro was sent to a residence on County Line Road in reference to an intoxicated male and criminal mischief.  The Deputy met with a female complainant and a witness who advised the intoxicated male had damaged a door inside the residence.  The 48 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 6:26pm, charged with criminal mischief and public intoxication and taken to jail.

On April 7, Deputy J. West responded to a residence on Meachan Meadows Trail in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised that her husband had been drinking and had struck her. The male made threats to kill his wife when he got out of jail.  The 61 year old male from Conroe was charged with assault and retaliation and transported to jail.  He also made the same threats to kill his wife in front of jail staff.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 04/03/12, Sgt. Russell responded to Connordale Road. Upon further investigation it was learned an assault has occurred. A 41 yoa female from Spring was taken into custody for assault.

On 04/05/12, Deputy Logan responded to the 400 Block of Rayford Road on a disturbance. While on location a female was located nearby and appeared to be intoxicated. After an investigation, a 26 yoa female from Spring was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

On 04/07/12, Sgt. Russell responded to the 400 block of Rayford Road on a disturbance. Upon further investigation it was learned a group of juveniles were causing a disturbance. One juvenile was located and it was learned he had a trespass warning previously issued. The 15 yoa female was taken into custody and transported to Juvenile detention in Conroe.

On 04/07/12, Deputy Fruge responded to a residence on Richards Road. Upon further investigation it was learned the victim’s ex-boyfriend had entered into her apartment to commit a theft. He was located inside the apartment hiding under a mattress. A 25 yoa male from Spring was taken into custody for Burglary of a Habitation.

On 04/08/12, Deputy Fruge conducted a traffic stop in the 25000 block of Borough Park Drive. The driver was confrontational and argumentative and refused to sign the promise to appear citation for the alleged charges. The 28 yoa male from Manchaca was taken into custody for numerous traffic violations.

On 04/08/12, Deputy Zavorski responded to Hummingbird Lane. Upon further investigation it was learned that two males were arguing and as one began to leave in a vehicle, the other fired several rounds from a pistol. There were children and other adults in the immediate area. No one was injured.  The actor, a 74 yoa male from Conroe, was taken into custody for Deadly Conduct.

On 04/08/12, Sgt. Russell observed two vehicles on the FM 1488 bridge over IH45, in which one vehicle appeared to be disabled. Sgt. Russell stopped to assist and while speaking to a male subject he noticed the license plates on one vehicle did not match. He then inquired about the different license plates and the male became nervous and began to reach inside the vehicle. The male was quickly detained by deputies and the vehicle was found to be stolen out of Houston County. A 31 yoa male from Seabrook and a 24 yoa female were taken into custody for Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Controlled Substances.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 4/2/12 Deputy Pickerill was dispatched to Porter Ln. in reference to a Family Violence.  Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who advised that the suspect had been kicking and abusing her for two days.  The suspect was located at a nearby house and taken into custody.  The suspect, a 37 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 4/3/12 Deputy Voris was dispatched to a residence on FM 1485 in reference to a disturbance.  Upon his arrival he observed a male in the street stumbling and yelling.  Upon speaking with the male he appeared highly intoxicated.  The suspect, a 26 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 4/4/12 Deputy Martinez was dispatched to 2nd Street in reference to a Family Violence.  Upon arrival the deputy found that the suspect had pulled the victim into a vehicle against her will.  The suspect, a 50 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 4/4/12 Cpl. Lebeau was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Shoplifter.  Upon arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise.  The suspect was confronted by loss prevention and the suspect struck the loss prevention officer in the face.  A witness assisted in detaining the suspect until the police arrived.  The suspect, a 30 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Robbery.

On 4/5/12 Deputy Perez was dispatched to Owens Rd. in reference to a Prowler.  Upon arrival it was found that the suspect had entered the home to visit a juvenile daughter and that he had previously been told that entry onto the property was prohibited.  The suspect, a 19 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

On 4/5/12 Deputy Logan was dispatched to Ford Rd. in reference to a Trespasser.  Upon arrival it was found that the suspect had been given a Trespass Warning and then returned.  The suspect, a 26 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

On 4/7/12 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to a residence on FM 1485 in reference to a Family Violence. Upon arrival it was learned that the suspect assaulted the victim by slapping and hitting him.  The suspect, a 45 year old female from New Caney was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 4/9/12 Deputy Ashmore was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Shoplifter.  Upon arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to leave the store with $487 worth of merchandise with paying.  The suspect, a 17 year old female from Porter was arrested and charged with Theft.

Warrants Served

On 04/3/12 Deputy Azwell arrested a 46 year old female for a Failure to Appear warrant out of Montgomery County.

On 4/3/12 Deputy Burk arrested a 27 year old male for a Failure to Appear warrant out of Montgomery County.

On 04/6/12 Deputy Pickerill arrested a 39 year old male for a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle warrant out of Harris County.

On 04/7/12 Deputy Azwell arrested a 33 year old male for a Failure to Appear warrant.

On 04/7/12 Deputy Voris arrested a 33 year old female for two outstanding traffic warrants.

On 4/9/12 Sr Sgt. Rogers arrested a 25 year old male for two outstanding traffic related warrants.

On 4/10/12 Deputy Martinez arrested a 46 year old male for a Felony Fraud warrant.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On April 8th Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to the Hazy Hollow subdivision in reference to an Assault.  Deputy LaSalle met with the female Complainant who advised she and a 24 year old male had been on their way home when they began to argue and the suspect assaulted her.   When they got their home the subject dragged the victim out of the car.  Deputy LaSalle placed the subject into custody for Assault Family Violence.

On April 7th Sergeant Funderburk responded to the Hazy Hollow subdivision in reference to a 43 year old male shooting a firearm outside his trailer.    Upon arrival the Sergeant spoke to the subject who advised he had been shooting his firearm into the ground.  Sergeant Funderburk placed the subject into custody for Deadly Conduct.

On April 7th Deputy Irvine was dispatched to Decker Prairie Rosehill in reference to a Disturbance in Progress.  The owner of residence advised that a 41 male had been at his residence extremely intoxicated and fighting.  Deputy Irvine located the subject walking on the roadway in a traffic lane.  Deputy Irvine placed the subject into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the South County Jail in The Woodlands.

On April 6th Sergeant Gonzales was dispatched to the area of Ranch Crest and Sonora Trails in reference to a Welfare Check.  The Reportee advised a male stepped in front of her vehicle and she had almost struck him.  Upon arrival Sergeant Gonzales located a shirtless man at that intersection sitting in the grass and barely able to speak.  The 32 year old male was very intoxicated and had been sniffing chemical fumes.  Sergeant Gonzales placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the South County Jail in the Woodlands.

On April 5th Deputy Brummett assisted Deputy Allen on a traffic stop in the 3900 block of FM 1774.  Deputy Allen had observed the vehicle sway from line to line inearly running off the road.  The deputy spoke with the 20 year old female driver and could smell an odor of alcohol. Deputy Brummett placed her in custody for DWI and transported her to female booking in Conroe.

On April 5th while conducting a traffic stop in the 30500 block of High Meadow Drive, Deputy Durbin was advised by Dispatch there was an Active Warrant for the passenger.  Deputy Durbin placed the subject into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 3rd Deputy Thomas while on patrol south bound on Hwy 249 conducted a traffic stop. The 27 year old male driver did not have his driver’s license was suspended.  Dispatched advised that the subject had been previously arrested on 2/13/12 and 4/11/11 for having a suspended license.  The subject was arrested and charged with DWLI with prior convictions. 

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

April 4th Deputy Treille was dispatched to Ravine Run in regards to an Assault. It was learned that a husband and wife had been involved in an altercation that turned physical. The victim suffered injuries requiring emergency treatment at the scene. The male was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 4th Deputy Wroten was dispatched to a residence on Walden Rd. While on scene officers made contact with a male resident of the complex that had an outstanding felony warrant. This subject was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 7th Deputy Farmer responded to a residence on Windjammer Road in regards to Theft. The Complainant reported that someone had stolen a golf cart from the driveway. The value of the stolen cart was estimated at $5000.

April 8th Deputy Pugh conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle in the 16500 block of SH 105W. Contact was made with the male driver and male passenger. Upon checking on both subjects officers learned both individuals had multiple outstanding warrants. Both males were arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 9th Deputy Davis responded to Pine Circle S. in regards to an Assault. Officers discovered that a male and female were involved in an altercation that turned physical when the female struck the male several times in the face. Injuries sustained by the male did not require emergency medical treatment. The female was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

Woodlands (District 6) Zone Map

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On April 4 at approximately 10:25 a.m., Deputy Self attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that passed him at a high rate of speed on Research Forest.  The suspect vehicle continued, disregarding the emergency lights and sirens.  The suspect pulled into a driveway and exited the vehicle in an aggressive manner.  The suspect actively resisted the deputy.  The suspect was arrested for Evading and Resisting Transport. 

On April 4 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Deputy Camarena and Deputy Jobe responded to a Shoplifter in Custody at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive.  The suspect, a 52 year old female from Magnolia, attempted to take $1563.19 worth of merchandise from Macy’s Department Store.  The suspect was charged with State Jail Felony Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 4 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Deputy Prince responded to a Welfare Check of a possible intoxicated driver near Lake Woodlands and Pinecroft.  Deputy Prince located the suspect at a gas station.  The driver, a 35 year old male from Huntsville, was arrested for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 5 at approximately 2:45 a.m., Deputy Sharman conducted at traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway.  Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Sharman detected a strong odor of marijuana.  The driver, a 21 year old male from Tomball, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 5 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Deputy Aguilar conducted at traffic stop on Cochran’s Crossing.  Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Aguilar detected a strong odor of marijuana.  The driver, an 18 year old male from The Woodlands, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 6 at approximately 11 p.m., Deputy Prince responded to an Attempt to Locate of a possible intoxicated driver near the area of I-45 and Woodlands Parkway.  The witness stated they were following the vehicle and the vehicle was weaving across several lanes of traffic.  Deputy Prince located the vehicle near SH 242 and initiated a traffic stop.  The driver, a 20 year old male from Conroe, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 6 at approximate 11:45 p.m., Sr. Sgt. Bybee was checking the area Sawdust Road for two missing Juveniles, when he observed 3 men duck down behind a vehicle.  Sr. Sgt. Bybee During the course of the investigation the deputy found that one of the suspects, a 21 year old male from The Woodlands, had a bag containing marijuana.  The suspect was charged with Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 7 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Deputy Rascoe and Deputy Schutzenhofer were notified by a citizen that there was an intoxicated man inside a restaurant on Waterway Ave., and that the suspect had assaulted another person.  As deputies approached the suspect ran down a staircase in an attempt to flee.  Deputy Schutzenhofer caught the suspect, a 37 year old male from The Woodlands and both fell down the remainder of the staircase.  The suspect continued to struggle for several minutes.  The suspect was arrested and taken to jail for resisting arrest and assault.
