MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 4-17-12

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 41 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:42am, April 9, and taken to jail from a residence on Dogwood Lane by Deputy C. Santoro for a hindering apprehension warrant out of Montgomery County.   The Deputy was on a warrant service.

A 22 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 10:30pm, April 9, and taken to jail from the 18100 block of Hwy 105E by Deputy K. Berger for a capias pro fine warrant out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was on a welfare concern on the female who was walking down the road.

On April 10, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 900 block of Crystal Forest Drive.  The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  The vehicle displayed a fictitious registration. The male was also wanted on a fail to appear warrant out of Conroe PD. The 40 year old male was arrested at 1:22am and taken to jail.

On April 10, Sgt. E. Ward was notified of a disturbance at a residence on FM 1484.  The Deputy located several males and found one to be extremely intoxicated.  Another male left the location as the Deputy was investigating. The male that left the location was stopped by Deputy S. Ortiz in the 8500 block of TX Dot Road.  The male provided a false name. He was found to be in possession of marijuana and had two open misdemeanor JP warrants out of Montgomery County.  The 22 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:31pm, charged with failure to identify as fugitive from justice, possession of marijuana and the two warrants and was taken to jail.

On April 12, Deputy R. Stein was sent to a residence on Brittany Lane in reference to a disturbance.  The Deputy met with several complainants and witnesses on location. A 30 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 6:30pm for assault on three persons.  One of the complainants, a 23 year old female, also from Conroe was arrested for a theft of property warrant out of Montgomery County.  Both females were transported to jail.

A 22 year old male from New Waverly was arrested at 6:26pm, April 13, and taken to jail from a residence on East Rogers Road by Deputy S. Squier for four traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 1 and a warrant out of Walker County for criminal non-support of a child. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance.

On April 13, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 11300 block of Hwy 105E.  The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The male had two outstanding warrants out of Montgomery County also.  The 18 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:56pm and transported to jail.

On April 14, Deputy J. Bourne was sent to a bar on Point Aquarius Blvd. The Deputy met with a male who advised he and his live-in girlfriend had entered the bar and his girlfriend’s estranged husband assaulted him. The male suspect left the bar and was apprehended a short time later. The 43 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 2:24am, charged with assault and also a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was taken to jail.

On April 15, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 9500 block of FM 1097.  The 34 year old male driver from Willis was found to be intoxicated and was arrested at 2:35am for DWI 2nd.  A 47 year old male passenger also from Willis was found to have an outstanding warrant for DWI out of Montgomery County.  Both males were taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 04-13-12 at approximately 1711, Deputy Sibille responded to a disturbance call on Borough Park Dr.  During his investigation, it was learned that one of the parties, a male from Montgomery, had outstanding warrants.   The subject was arrested and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-10-12 at approximately 0300, Sgt. Barber responded observed a male from Houston attempting to open a gate into an apartment complex located at 425 Rayford Rd.  While speaking with the subject, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-14-12 at approximately 0031, Deputy Logan was dispatched to an assault family violence on Stapleford Dr.  Upon his investigation, it was determined a female from Spring, was intoxicated and threatened her husband with a knife.  The female was arrested for Assault Family Violence and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-14-12 at approximately 0253, Deputy Logan was dispatched to a welfare check in the 6000 blk. of F.M. 1488.  Upon his arrival, he made contact with a White male from The Woodlands.  Through his investigation, it was determined that the subject was intoxicated.  He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-14-12 at approximately 0100, Deputy Knight was dispatched to a welfare check in the 400 blk. of Sawdust.  Upon his arrival, he made contact with a White male from Spring.  Through his investigation, it was determined that the male was intoxicated.  He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-13-12 at approximately 0300, Deputy Knight was dispatched to a disturbance near I-45 & College Park.  Upon his arrival, a White male from Conroe, was observed by Deputy Knight urinating in public.  The male was deemed intoxicated and arrested for Public Intoxication.  He was transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-15-12 at approximately 2200, Deputy Frantz responded to an address on Gleneagles in reference to child custody.  While on location, he met with a female from Porter.  The female was non-compliant when she was advised that she had a warrant and would be placed under arrest.  She was arrested and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-15-12 at approximately 0050, Sgt. Barber was responding to a disturbance call on Old Conroe Magnolia & Park Ave.  While on scene, he stopped a vehicle leaving the scene.  Upon contact with the driver, a male from Conroe, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  The subject was arrested for DWI and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-14-12 at approximately 0200, Deputy Dowell conducted a traffic stop near Sawdust Rd. & Budde Rd.  Upon contact with the driver, a female from Spring was determined to be intoxicated.  The subject was arrested for DWI and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-13-12 at approximately 2000, Deputy Dowell responded to an address on Grant St. in reference to a disturbance.  Upon his arrival, a female juvenile, who was involved in the disturbance, attempted to flee from Deputy Dowell.  She was restrained and arrested for Evading.  She was transported to MCSO Juvenile.

On 04-11-12 at approximately 0013, Deputy Knight responded to a warrant service near Fox Run and Rayford Rd.  He made contact with a male from Conroe who was wanted.  Deputy Knight confirmed the warrants and arrested the subject and transported him to MCSO Jail.

On 04-10-12 at approximately 0245, Sgt. Barber received a welfare check in the 400 blk. of Rayford Rd.  Upon his arrival, he met with a male from Houston who was intoxicated.  The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 4/11/12 Deputy Sherlock was dispatched to a residence on E. Martin in reference to a family violence.  Upon arrival the victim stated her son was on methamphetamine and physically assaulted her.  The suspect was not located at the residence and information was received that the suspect was at an address on F.M. 1485. Upon finding the suspect precursors for making methamphetamine were also found.  The original suspect, a 32 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Felony Assault Family Violence.  The owner of the trailer, a 56 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.  An occupant in the trailer, an 18 year old female from Humble was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

On 4/12/12 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to a Welfare Concern at an Exxon store on Loop 494.  Upon arrival he located an intoxicated female and upon searching the females purse Hydrocodone was located.  The female did not have a prescription for the pills.  The suspect, a 46 year old female from Splendora was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 4/12/12 Sgt. Miller and Deputy McCord were dispatched to a Family Disturbance at a residence on Wildwood.  Upon arrival they learned that the suspect had taken a shotgun out and threatened the victim with the gun.  The suspect was also found to be a convicted Felon.  The suspect, a 64 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Terroristic Threat.

On 4/14/12 Deputy Perez was dispatched to a residence on Jim Stowe.  Upon arrival he found that the suspect refused to leave the property of the complainant and was intoxicated.  The suspect, a 31 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

On 4/14/12 Deputy Logan conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 59 for expired registration.  Upon running the drivers license of the driver it showed to be suspended.  The driver and suspect, a 27 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On 4/16/12 Deputy T. smith was dispatched to Loop 494 and Ford Rd. in reference to a Welfare Check.  Upon arrival he noticed a male staggering out of the gas station.  Upon speaking with the male he found him to be intoxicated.  The suspect, a 32 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

Warrants Served

On 04/13/12 Sgt. Miller arrested a 21 year old male for an Assault by Threat and Failure to Appear warrant.

On 4/13/12 Deputy White arrested a 53 year old male for an Injury to a Child warrant.

On 04/13/12 Deputy Gratz arrested a 18 year old male for multiple warrants for Carrying a Prohibited Weapon, No Drivers License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Appear and Expired Registration.

On 04/14/12 Deputy Durrenberger arrested a 17 year old male for two traffic related warrants.

On 04/15/12 Deputy Burk arrested a 31 year old female for three outstanding traffic warrants.

On 4/15/12 Deputy Burk arrested a 23 year old male for a Failure to Appear and DWLI warrant.

On 4/17/12 Deputy Sherlock arrested a 19 year old male for an outstanding traffic warrant.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On April 14th Deputy Allen was dispatched to the 27000 of Creek Drive in reference to a Welfare Check.  Upon arrival the Deputy had Dispatch run a check on the 27 year old male subject and his girlfriend.  Dispatch advised the male had three outstanding warrants; two for Failure to Appear and one for No Seat Belt.  The subject into custody and transported him to South County for booking.

On April 13th Deputy Peterson saw a vehicle speeding on Carraway Lane.  The Deputy ztopped the vehicle on Mesa Verde.  Dispatch advised the driver did not have valid Texas Driver’s License and had two previous convictions for DWLI.  Deputy Peterson placed the subject into custody for DWLI and transported him to male booking in Conroe.

On April 13th Deputy Allen was dispatched to the intersection of FM 1488 and Old Hockley Rd in reference to a male walking in and out of the roadway.  Upon arrival the Deputy observed a 49 year old male standing just off the roadway.  The Deputy could smell a strong odor of an alcohol.  The subject stated he had been at the Golden Retriever Bar just a few blocks away and he decided to walk home.  The Deputy placed the subject into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 12th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Clear Creek subdivision in reference to Family Violence.  The Complainant a 58 year old male had been arguing with his son, a 24 year old.  The argument became physical.  The 24 year old was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 12th Deputy Thomas conducted a traffic stop on FM 1774 near Goodson Loop and spoke with the 29 year old male driver.  Dispatch advised the subject’s TDL was invalid per surcharge and the driver had a prior conviction.  The subject was taken into custody for DWLI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On April 12th Deputy Irvine was dispatched to the Oak Hill Acres subdivision in reference to Assault Family Violence.  Upon arrival the Deputy found a 40 year old female hiding behind a tree in the front yard.  The victim told deputies that a 31 year old male inside the residence had assaulted her and that he was highly intoxicated.  Inside the Deputies found the suspect dancing naked to a You-Tube video.  The subject was arrested for Assault and transported to male booking.

On April 9th Sergeant Peckne was dispatched to Cluster Oaks Drive in reference to a Disturbance in Progress.  Upon arrival a 22 year old female was checked through dispatch and found to have two outstanding warrants.  Both warrants were confirmed and the subject was taken into custody, and then transported to female booking.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

April 11th Deputy Wroten responded to the area of SH 105W and Marina Dr. in regards to a Suspicious Person who had been wandering in and out of several establishments. Officers located the male and found him to be intoxicated. The male was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 12th Deputy Lowe responded to the 19700 block of SH 105W for a Theft. The complainant reported that someone had stolen his semi-trailer. The trailer did not contain any freight at the time. This case is under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force.

April 13th Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 18500 block of SH 105W. Upon making contact with the male driver officers determined the subject to be driving on a suspended driver’s license. The subject was arrested for Driving While License Invalid and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 13th Deputy Treille responded to April Village Drive in regards to an Assault. It was learned by officers that an elderly female had been assaulted by her daughter. The daughter was arrested for Injury to the Elderly (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 15th Deputy Fluellen responded to the 900 block of N. Hunting Tower Run in regards to a Suspicious Person. Upon arrival officers discovered a male stumbling down the middle of the street. The suspect was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail. 

Woodlands (District 6) Zone Map

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On April 10 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Sr. Sgt. Herring conducted a traffic stop on Golden Sage near Copper Sage.  Upon making contact with the driver, 25 year old male from The Woodlands, Sr. Sgt. Herring noticed a strong smell of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  Deputy Marshall and K-9 “Hap” assisted Sr. Sgt. Herring and a search was conducted.  Four small blue pills were located and identified as Valium.  The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of Dangerous Drug and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 11 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Deputy Hopper responded to a Shoplifter in Custody call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive.  The suspects, both 26 year old females from Houston, were detained by Loss Prevention Officers after attempting to take $1092.94 worth of merchandise from Sears Department Store.  The suspects were charged with Theft and taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 12 at approximately 4 p.m., Deputy Weatherford and Deputy Trapani were dispatched to an accident on Research Forest Drive.  Upon arrival, they met with the driver, a 20 year old male from Spring, who appeared to be intoxicated.  Deputy Marshall and K-9 “Hap” were called to the scene and assisted in conducting a search of the suspect vehicle.  A bag containing Synthetic Marijuana was located in the dashboard of the vehicle.  The suspect was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and was transferred to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 12 at approximately 9:42 p.m., Deputy Prince responded to an accident on Market Street where a driver struck a parked vehicle.  During the course of the investigation, Deputy Prince determined that the driver, a 59 year old male from The Woodlands, was intoxicated.  Charges for Driving While Intoxicated were filed and the suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 14 at approximately 2:50 a.m., Deputy Clifton conducted a traffic stop on FM 2978 and Woodlands Parkway.  The suspect, a 22 year old male from Spring, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.  He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. 

On April 14 at approximately 8:48 p.m., Deputy Eisenmenger conducted a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway and Woodloch Forest.  The suspect, a 32 year old male from The Woodlands, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.  He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
