MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 4-24-12

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On April 16, Deputy C. Santoro stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 10900 block of FM 1485.  The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:34pm and transported to jail.

A 42 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:52am, April 17, and taken to jail from a residence on Quinlan North Lake Drive by Deputy C. Santoro for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on a warrant service.

A 47 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:14am, April 17, and taken to jail from an area on Bert Brown Road and FM 1314 by Deputy A. Terrell for three traffic warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County.  The Deputy was assisting a DPS Trooper.

A 41 year old male from New Waverly was arrested at 11:40am, April 17, and taken to jail from an area near the Walker County line by Sgt. D. Bonner for two traffic warrants out of JP 1 Montgomery County. The Deputy had received the male from Walker County S.O.

On April 18, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 400 block of S. Danville Street.  The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license.  The 42 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:26pm and taken to jail.

On April 19, Deputy R. Nedrow was investigating an assault call at a residence on Shiloh Park. The Deputy identified the two females on location and found that both had outstanding warrants. The 19 year old female from Conroe was wanted for a fail to appear warrant out of Montgomery County and the 41 year old female, also from Conroe, was wanted for a theft by check warrant out of Brazoria County.  Both were arrested at 2:00pm and transported to jail.

On April 20, Deputy J. West observed a vehicle speeding and then run off the roadway.  The Deputy stopped the vehicle on the traffic violations in the 11300 block of Camp Creek Way.  The male driver was found to be intoxicated.  The 57 year old male from Willis was arrested at 9:59pm, charged with DWI and transported to jail.

A 48 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 7:33pm, April 21, and taken to jail from a residence on Airport Road by Deputy C. Santoro for three traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 1.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call.

A 44 year old male from Splendora was arrested at10:42pm, April 21, and taken to jail from the 1600 block of N. Emerson Circle by Deputy C. Santoro for a traffic warrant (duty upon striking fixture/hwy landscape) out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was assisting DPS.

On April 22, Deputy A. Booher was sent to the 18600 block of Oakridge Drive in reference to a suspicious vehicle call.  The Deputy located an intoxicated male standing in the ditch and then try to lie down.  The 35 year old male was arrested at 6:41am and taken to jail.

On April 22, Deputy A. Cross was notified of a family violence assault call at a residence on White Rock Road.  The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument.  He got mad and struck her on the face with his fist. The 20 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:22am and taken to jail.

A 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 2:52pm, April 22, and taken to jail from a residence on W. Forest Road by Sgt. F. Webb for a capias pro fine warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received a tip on the male’s location for the warrant service.

A 32 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:02pm, April 22, and taken to jail from a location on FM 3083 and FM 2090 by Deputy S. Degner for a possession of dangerous drug warrant and an evading warrant, both out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call.

A 44 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:22pm, April 22, and taken to jail from a residence on Royal West by Deputy Z. Winford for four traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 1.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call.

A 30 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 10:41pm, April 22, and taken to jail from a location on Hwy 105E near Douget Road by Deputy C. Sullivent for six misdemeanor warrants out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was investigating a suspicious vehicle.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 04/16/12, Deputy Meredith was dispatched to the 25000 block of IH45 to meet another officer who had an adult male in detained for a misdemeanor warrant. A 19 yoa male from Spring, was taken into custody by Deputy Meredith and transported to male booking.

On 04/20/12, Deputy Mathis was dispatched to the Wal-Mart on Sawdust Road for a shoplifter. A 17 yoa female from Huntsville, was taken into custody for Theft.

On 04/21/12, Deputy Meredith was dispatched to the 25000 block of IH45 to meet another officer who had an adult male detained for a felony warrant. A 44 yoa male from Splendora, was taken into custody by Deputy Meredith and transported to male booking.

On 04/21/12, Sgt. Russell was westbound on SH242 and observed a vehicle speeding and swerving in and out of the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and upon speaking to the driver, an odor of an alcoholic beverage could be smelled from the driver’s breath. A sobriety test was performed and it was determined the driver was intoxicated. A 36 yoa female from Kingwood, was taken into custody for DWI and transported to female booking.

 On 04/22/12, Deputy Mckee was dispatched to Tamina Road and Main on a traffic hazard. Upon arrival, Deputy Mckee observed a vehicle parked on the railroad tracks as well as an adult male on foot near the vehicle. The male had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet as he spoke to Deputy Mckee. A 29 yoa homeless male was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and the vehicle was towed from the location.

On 04/22/12, Deputy Mckee was dispatched to the HEB on Sawdust Road for a shoplifter. A 20 yoa female from Spring, was taken into custody for Theft.

On 04/23/12, Deputy Lawless and other Deputies were dispatched to an address on Garrett Drive for a warrant service. Upon arrival, the wanted subject spotted the Deputies and began to flee on foot. After a short foot chase the wanted subject was apprehended but resisted the deputies. A 24 yoa female from Magnolia, was charged with Evading on Foot, Resisting Arrest/ Detention and was served with the felony warrant and transported to female booking.

On 04/23/12, Deputy Reuvers, was dispatched to the 100 block of Valleywood Road on a welfare concern. Upon locating the subject, Deputy Reuvers was informed by MCSO Dispatch that the subject was a missing person and also had a felony warrant for her arrest. A 37 yoa female from Humble, was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to female booking.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 04/14/12, Deputy Burk was dispatched to Grove Circle in New Caney for a Family Violence.  Investigation revealed that a 56 YOA male had a physical altercation with his son.  The male subject was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat “Family Violence”.

On 04/17/12, Deputy Voris was dispatched to the 23400 Block of FM 1485 in reference to a Family Violence Investigation where investigation revealed a physical altercation had occurred between a 12 YOA and her 36 YOA mother.  The 12 YOA juvenile was taken into custody for Assault.

On 04/17/12, Deputy Gratz observed a 37 YOA white male operating a bicycle at night time without approved lighting.  Upon investigation, the male was found to be intoxicated from an alcoholic beverage and had multiple open warrants which were confirmed.

On 04/17/12, Deputy Amstutz conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 20700 Block of FM 1485.  A traffic stop was made and the deputy could smell burnt marijuana.  A small amount of marijuana was found.  The 40 year old female was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

On 04/18/12, Deputy Logan was dispatched to the 27400 Block of FM 1485 in New Caney in reference to a Welfare Concern.  Investigation revealed that EMS Personnel had observed a 39 YOA white male swaying in and out of traffic riding a bicycle.  Upon locating the male, the deputy was able to determine that he was intoxicated from an alcoholic beverage and was clearing a danger to himself and others as he was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to jail without incident.

On 04/18/12, Sgt. W. Kendrick was dispatched to  Suspicious Person(s) at the Porter Wal-Mart where it was determined that a 19 YOA white male and a 41 YOA white male were observed by Wal Mart Personnel concealing numerous items of merchandise and taking them out of the store without payment before being detained.  Items included electronics, clothing, and hardware which totaled just under $400.00.  Both subjects were arrested and charged with Theft M-B and transported to jail without incident.

On 04/19/12, a 29 YOA white male was arrested by Sr. Sgt. Rogers in Humble on a Felony Warrant while assisting Detectives on a separate investigation.

On 04/20/12, Deputy Layman was dispatched to Country Place Road for a report of “Family Violence”.  During the investigation, a 31 YOA male that was involved was found to have an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana which was confirmed and he was taken to jail.

On 04/20/12, Deputy Sherlock observed a vehicle with a defective brake lamp in the area of Loop 494 at Green Farrisin Porter, Texas  at which time a traffic stop was made.  It was found that the driver, a 42 YOA white male had a suspended driver’s license from a previous charge involving intoxication.  The male was arrested for Driving While License Invalid and transported to jail without incident.

On 04/20/12, Deputy Azwell was dispatched to a Welfare Concern at the 22500 Block of Community Drive in New Caney, Texas where he met with a 37 YOA white female that advised she had been assaulted by her 40 YOA white male boyfriend.  It was found that the female had multiple visible injuries from the assault as she was transported to the hospital. The male was located asleep in a wooded area within a tent where he was residing as he was arrested for Assault “Family Violence” with priors resulting in a Felony Charge.

On 04/20/12, Sr. Sgt. Valenzuela was dispatched to the 16600 Block of FM 1485 in Conroe, Texas for a Welfare Concern in which the report was that a person appeared to be intoxicated that was followed to a local business store.  Upon making contact with the person, a 27 YOA white male, it was determined that he was intoxicated.  The subject was arrested.

On 04/22/12, Deputy Jackson was dispatched to Valley Ranch Drive in Porter in reference to a Trespasser.  Investigation revealed that a 19 YOA male had snuck into an apartment without consent to attempt to see a female juvenile but was discovered by the father.  The male subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass and taken to jail without incident.

On 04/24/12, Deputy Sieck along with Deputy White made traffic stop in the area of Old Houston/ Oak Knoll for speeding when the 37 YOA white female driver of vehicle was found to have an open warrant for Fail to Appear.  The warrant was confirmed as she was arrested and transported without incident.

On 04/24/12, Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to Ruby Lane in reference to the Violation of a Protective Order.  Investigation led to a 32 YOA white male at the location and there was an active Protective Order on file.  The male subject was arrested without incident and transported to jail.

On 04/25/12, Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the 100 Block of Linwood in New Caney, Texas in reference to a Suspicious Person.  Upon the Deputy’s arrival, a 18 YOA white male was located in a ditch.  Investigation revealed that the subject was intoxicated and he was arrested for Public Intoxication.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On April 21st while on patrol in the area of Hwy 249, Deputy Irvine observed a 34 year old male subject walking on the shoulder.  The subject advised he had gotten into an argument with his wife and had jumped out of the car.  The subject had a strong odor of alcohol and stated he didn’t know where he was going.  Deputy Irvine placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 21st Deputy Crandell was dispatched to Misty Meadow in reference to a Family Violence.  The Deputy met with a female who was walking and had a black eye.  She advised she had been in an argument with her boyfriend and then he threw her out of the vehicle. Deputy Crandell located the 32 year old male.  Deputy Crandell placed him into custody for Assault Family Violence.

On April 20th Deputy St. John was dispatched to Brushy Trail in reference to a Criminal Trespass.  Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant who stated she saw a 25 year old female come on to her property and sit on the porch.  The Complainant had previously told the suspect not to return.  The Deputy placed her into custody and transported her to the Montgomery County Jail

On April 16th Deputy Provenzano while traveling South on FM 1774 observed a blue passenger car traveling North on FM 1774 with no headlights on.  The Deputy conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the 32 year old male driver.  The subject then ran into the woods.  The Deputy was able to locate the suspect hiding in the woods and arrested him for evading.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

April 18th Deputy Pugh was dispatched to the 15400 block of Crown Oaks in regards to a Suspicious Vehicle.  Upon arrival Deputy Pugh checked the area and located the vehicle on side of the road occupied by a female.  A check of her license reviled an outstanding warrant out of Montgomery County.  She was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 22nd Deputy Treille conducted a traffic stop in the 100 blk of McCaleb Rd on a Black Chevy truck.  Contact was made and a check of the license revealed that it was suspended.  The male driver was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 22nd Deputy Wroten was on scene of a call in the 200 blk of Fantasy Ln.  While waiting at the location a highly intoxicated male walked up to the scene.  Deputy Wroten contacted the male who could hardly stand or speak.  Due to the males condition Deputy Wroten placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

April 23rd Deputy Jackson was working at Conroe ER when a female came in with multiple injuries.  Jackson learned that she was assaulted by her adult son in the 100 blk of Beach Walk Blvd.  Jackson contacted Deputy Pugh who responded to the suspect’s home.  Contact was made with the suspect and he was arrested for Aggravated Assault.

April 23rd Deputy Rex conducted a traffic stop on White pickup in the 4100 blk of Sweetgum.  Upon contact with the driver it was learned that he had 5 active warrants out of Tomball Police Department.  The warrants were confirmed and another unit transported him to the County Line to meet Tomball.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

At approximately 1:30 a.m., on April 18, Deputy McCoy was notified of two possible drunk drivers in the area of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive.  Deputy McCoy located both vehicles.  At the conclusion of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, a 21 year old male from Austin, was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.  The other driver was not intoxicated and was released from the scene to go home.

On April 18 at approximately 12:35 p.m. Deputy Houstoun conducted a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway at Grogan’s Mill Road.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Houstoun discovered that the driver, a 34 year old male from Willis, had a suspended driver’s license.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he was charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On April 19 at approximately 10:40 p.m. Deputy Herman responded to a Disturbance on Holly Creek Drive.  During the course of his investigation, a 32 year old female from The Woodlands, was found to have three open warrants.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 20 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Deputy Veith observed a white cargo van parked in a no parking area on Waterway Ave.  Deputy Veith observed what appeared to be marijuana in open view in the center console.  While on scene the owners of the vehicle a 40 year old male and a 42 year old male, both from Katy, arrived.  Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 20 at 10:40 p.m. Deputy Blackwelder conducted a traffic stop on Six Pines and Lake Woodlands.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Blackwelder was advised by Dispatch that the suspect, a 27 year old male from Spring, had an outstanding warrant for Failure To Appear.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 21 at 1:21 p.m. Deputy Uber conducted at traffic stop on Timberloch Drive.  The suspect, a 23 year old male from Houston, was arrested after marijuana was found in his vehicle. 

On April 21 at 3:40 p.m. Deputy Uber conducted at traffic stop on Timberloch Drive.  The suspects, a 22 year old male and a 23 year old female both from Tomball, were arrested after marijuana was found in the vehicle.

On April 21 at 3:45 p.m. Deputy Rascoe conducted at traffic stop on Timber Lakes Drive and Falling Leaf.  Deputy Rascoe observed the driver throw a small plastic bag out the passenger window.  The suspect, a 17 year old male from Spring, was arrested for Possession of was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
