What is the Purpose of this Site?

The goal of this site is to encourage and facilitate the free flow of public information to the citizens of Montgomery County, Texas by gathering and publishing public information as well as by recruiting and teaching volunteers how to gain access to public information.

The Texas Public Information Act is a strong tool that gives regular citizens the ability to gain access to a wealth of information about public officials as well as expenditures of public funds. Montgomery County, TX citizens monitoring the actions of local government will encourage and promote accountability.

We also will provide some local news and videos, mainly law enforcement and emergency scene in nature.
