Thursday March 12, 2009 – The storage place, located beside the Discount Tire store in Conroe, heard banging noises from outside of their location, and went out to see what was causing it. They then spotted a hispanic male with a sledge hammer beating on the back side of the Discount Tire store located at 1538 South I-45 in Conroe, and called the police to the location. The location was left with a hole in the cinder block wall from the sledge hammer. The area in which the burglar was trying to get in through, was lined with tires, and was a back storage room that had no access to the inside of the store. The hole was quickly patched up, and it was back to work as usual for the Discount Tire store employees.
