I find it more than interesting that the Montgomery County Hospital District suddenly finds it necessary to spend the public's tax dollars to create security settings on public documents so that they can NOT be found through an internet search! The district's checkbook has just been posted to this site. Foz points out that this is the first time he has ever seen a public doc with "security" settings such as this. What's behind this new tactic? Could it be in response to the public docs published here about Judge Sadler's connection to $24,000 in delinquent taxes? It seems that the Montgomery Central Appraisal District has also seen fit to make it impossible to "search" for inactive property accounts on their internet site! Less than 14 days after appraisal and tax assessor documents were published on this site that tied Judge Sadler to a delinquent tax bill, the appraisal district "removed" the option to search for inactive accounts any longer. What are they afraid of? My conclusion is that there must be more corruption that could be uncovered by accessing "inactive" accounts and comparing the info there with other public documents. Don't be surprised if we see every other taxing entity in this county do the same with their documents.
