The Patrol Division provides law enforcement and peace keeping services to over 1000 square miles in the unincorporated areas of Montgomery County.  The Division has 130 dedicated and well trained full-time sworn officers divided among six (6) district offices located in Conroe, The Woodlands, New Caney, Magnolia, Walden, and the Town Center Improvement District of The Woodlands.

130-82=48

48 deputies for the rest of MC divided by 3 = 16 per shift minus days off vacation………………….

Come on Norrell

I think it is time to put the truth out to the residents. There are not 82 assigned to TW, but how many and for how long have we been paying for deputies who don't actually exist? The fact that you and the board have mislead the residents shows why there is a level of distrust that is growing.   I will tell you that an attorney in Austin has been in the process of investigating. I am requesting the proper authorities to see if you have authorized payments to the SO for personnel who do not exist. I am not sure where you stand but the board can be charged with malfeasance, which can be a felony and cause for removal from office.   Now is the time to come clean.   Again let me remind you POSITIONS ARE NOT WARM BODIES.

Mr Donnelly,

The information that I provided is the number of total contract positions effective for the 2010 fiscal year.  The Township added 22 new contract positions effective January 1, 2010,  and there is no doubt that it will take some time to fill these new slots created by the 2010 budget.   However,  I will have the actual current personnel count from MCSO tomorrow regarding the number of existing contract employees assigned to The Woodlands and I will be happy to share the numbers with you.

How is it that the President of The Woodlands does not know how many deputies are assigned to The Woodlands?

So much for you get what you pay for.

I guess Don called the Sheriff:

BUT I"M STILL WAITING FOR THE LIST OF WARM BODIES DON.

I filed a FOI request, but I expect to get the, "We are asking for an AG opinion".

The excuse you used last time won't work. I was a cop and know what to tell the AG.

Why are you guys so set on not incorporating? To the extreme that Senator Williams wrote it into the Bill? Only the Board can vote for it. What happen to the residents? You work for us. At least your suppose too.

Why are you pushing the Boats and Trolley's under the CVB when the CVB board members are the TS players. We already know the answer, we got Brazos's check registers. Over a million dollars to Goodman for consulting. Commissioner Ed Chance on the board. AMEX bills that look like the national debt.

Did you see the article on the IAH situation?

The nonprofit arm of the Houston Airport System has been forced to reimburse the city between $10,000 and $15,000 the nonprofit spent trying to drum up business in other countries — bills that were initially paid out of public coffers.

People have had enough of the Non-Profit crap. Our ranks grow everyday. Not just in TW, but everywhere.

It's time to stop and just do the right thing.
