THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Police have arrested Allen Pittman, 28, for robbery of a pregnant woman in the parking lot of Steel City Pizza on Sawdust Road on Friday, Jan. 8, around 11 p.m.

The victim, 7 months pregnant, was in the parking lot alone when Pittman reportedly approached her, demanded money and pushed her to the ground.

When the victim screamed for help, her father and employees of the restaurant ran to her aid. Pittman was chased by the witnesses, captured and held near the parking lot of Big Lots until police arrived. Pittman received medical attention for minor injuries during the pursuit and was then taken to jail.
