If you know the address you can ask for the call sheets.  The call sheets will contain some basic information about the call.

Hi Newton and Gunstar.

I am including a link to a public information request which you can fill in and email to the address provided in the document.

This request is a MCSO generic request for call sheets and police reports for whatever incident you fill in the blanks with.

If you know the exact address it is best.  If not then be as accurate as possible to help locate the information responsive to your request (give a street name and a cross street if possible).  Provide a date and time or time range to help the researcher locate the documents.

As far as a new scanner….hmm was hoping some manufacturer would come out with a better scanner before we purchased another one.  The current crop of digital scanners were not really designed to monitor the new digital simulcast system the county switched to in January of 2009.  So, there is really no timeline as to when we will purchase another scanner.
