After reading all the comments on the Courier about recent cases, it appears we may have another McDougal in the DA's office.

Several good chances have been presented to Ligon's office with what appears to be no movement.

Biofuels is a great example. Fred O'Conner and Biofuels have broken State and Federal laws. No action by the DA.

So my question is why are we paying for an ADA to handle public integrity if he is going to do nothing.

So much information has been given to Mr. Ligon and his staff on several individuals in power and he not only does not move, the comments on the Courier show that to his own admission, he doesn't know what is going on in his office.

Two things could be happening.

He can't handle the job, OR

The Feds need to step in.

Mr. Ligon, when you made the comment you would be a one time DA, did you know something we didn't.

Maybe there are some insiders over there in Mr. Ligon's office who would like to expose what's going on and what they think of their new boss's abilities.

Former jail employee charged with theft

" Well Ligon, how you going to handle this?

Traylor served as a finance clerk with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Her husband, Michael Traylor, serves as an MCSO deputy, MCSO Lt. Dan Norris said.

It happened when she wasn't there? Lack of evidenece? We forgot it on a dsek for 18 months.

We think a temp did it.

Her husband didn't notice she got a raise? LOL "

This lady was a "finance" clerk no less.

Check out their delinquent tax history over on the tax office site. Guess she used all that "alleged" stolen money on other things.

Also take a look at the lovely 1998 built homestead with two homes on over 4 acres that MCAD has as a Class 4- construction on Google Earth.

Looks to my eye like somebody is doing somebody tax "favors" here, too.
