Thursday morning January 20 at about 7:30 A.M. several police motorcycles were escorting one or two cars along Woodlands Parkway then south on I – 45 then down the Hardy Toll Road. Does anyone know who was being escorted?

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. My 3rd grader and her friends witnessed the same from their bus. I have been checking the site to see if anything has been posted.

I saw the same thing tues evening however they were traveling on I45 N and the took the woodlands pkwy overpass heading on woodlands pkwy into the woodlands. This was at approx 5:45-6pm.

Could anyone please describe what agency was involved in these escorts?
What did the vehicle being escorted look like? Anyone see the license plate?
Would it be possible to get a photo of this the next time it is witnessed?

The motorcycles were from HPD. I couldn't see the car clearly though I thought it was a cream colored Lincoln Town Car.

I just saw this again (5pm on tues) there was 3-4 Houston PD marked cars with lights. There was 3-4 unmarked Tahoes or Sububurans a couple were solid Black and at least one was tan, all the suv's had interior police light on.
This time they were heading on 45 by Woodlands PKY towards Houston. It didnt look like they were escorting anyone this time like it did last time. However there was a single black towncar that was in the middle of them. I dont know if the towncar was related of if it was just caught in the middle of the other vehicles.

There is a Congressman that lives in The Woodlands. Seems like a lot of back and forth but maybe that is him or his family.

It wasn't Congressman Brady. I have seen him multiple times, he drives his own car.

It's actually the President of Sri Lanka.
He is currently staying at the Avia Hotel in The Woodlands and is in town undergoing cancer treatments at MD Anderson in downtown Houston.
