Did anyone hear anything on an attempted abduction of a high school student in the Walmart parking lot last night around 8:00? It's the Walmart on Woodlands Parkway and FM2978.

This is the response from the SO PIO
Nothing has crossed my desk. If I get any info I will pass it along.
A second email from SO states this is a "Rumor" and that they have received "No Report" on this incident.

I also received an e-mail forward about this supposed incident yesterday. It looked like one of those typical rumor e-mails that get modified and forwarded around. One of the red flags to me was the first sentence had a different font / point size than the rest of the e-mail, as if someone modified it.

I know for sure that this is true. The girl is a senior at Concordia HS. One guy came up behind her and grabbed her and she got herself turned around and he hit her in the face and she kicked him in the genitals. Then another guy pulled up and he jumped in the car and the took off after the got her purse with her car keys, ID and everything else.

If you know the victim of this incident, can you find out if she filed a police report and with what agency she might have filed the report with?
If she did not file a report she should file one.
We would also invite her to post her account of the incident in this forum in order to make others aware of the situation.

From what I've heard from my trusted source is that this was a purse snatching involving a female Concordia HS student and not an attempted abduction. I understand the girl and her family decided not to press charges. I also received a sensational email about the attempted abduction, girl getting punched in the eye, and it even mentioned another girl had recently been abducted and is still missing! That last one pegged the BS meter…
