Around 11:30 am this morning I saw something I have never seen before.  Along Research Forest there was a MCSO Crime Scene/Forensic truck followed by 2 patrol cars and 4 suburbans and this was followed by another 2 patrol cars and one suburban.  Neither vehicle had any lights on they were just coming through the intersection headed to I-45.  Any idea where these guys were heading?  It appeared they were going towards I-45 North.

Later,

Jay

Describe the suburbans. Were they white Expeditions?

Hack.. I said Suburbans but I should have said  White Tahoes or whatever White Chevy Model that MCSO has.  They were not expeditions.  One of the the SUV's had something to the effect of Sex offender enforcement or something like that on the door.  I cannot remember the exact wording.  I have never seen that printed on a door as well.

Ahhh, okay, they were marked vehicles. I've seen the sex offender one, a traffic one and the crime stoppers Tahoe. Not sure if they have any other specialized ones.

Maybe they were coming from the District office off of Six Pines, I believe the SO has a large area where they can recreate crime scenes.

Yes, they were turning off Six Pines to Research Forest.  I did not think of training, or recreating crime scenes.   I was thinking of something more exciting like a raidlaugh.  Thanks for the info.
