7-5-11 Approx 5:30 p.m.

Radio traffic indicated a 911 caller reported smoke coming from the front door of the neighbor's house across the street on Weisinger Drive not far from FM 2978 and Fm 1488.

Caller thought there should be two elderly residents in the house.

Once on scene, emergency crews did find two patients.  Crews started CPR on one patient and transported the other to Woodlands Memorial Hospital.

The CPR patient on-scene was declared deceased.

No word on the second patient other than I believe they were reported in critical condition.
