Original Post

At approximately 2:20 am this morning a short, assault related pursuit ensued when a motorcyclist fled from a MCSO unit on Sawdust Road.

The driver of the motorcycle headed North on Grogan's Mill and turned onto South Millbend going West…..soon thereafter the motorcycle wrecked out killing the driver.

The deceased appeared to be a 20-30 year-old male.

This happened right behind my house. My daughter and I could swear that we heard gunshots. Have you anything about that?

Hi Grace

No, haven't heard any mentions of gunfire nor did I hear any mention of gunfire on the radio during the incident.

Maybe it was the noise of the motorcycle hitting the trees. I could tell they were doing CPR on  him for quite a while. I figured the person must be dead because when the ambulance finally left the siren was not turned on. The police were still on the scene til a little after 6 am.

there weren't any gunshots.  He was a friend of mine.  There's no way he'd shoot at police.  If you knew him, you'd know that wouldn't even be a possibility.

No,  that's not what it meant. I thought maybe the police were shooting at him, but finally figured out that if it's true that he was going 120+ mph it was the impact of the crash, not gunshots, that made that noise. I feel extremely sorry for his family and the pain they must be going through.

According to PublicData, Jones pleaded guilty to state jail theft of property in September 2003 and received three years deferred adjudication. He pleaded guilty to burglary of a vehicle in Oct. 2004 and received two years probation.

Jones pleaded no contest for driving with an invalid license in December 2005 and received one years probation.

A disturbance at the What-a-burger resulted in a pursuit of a motorcycle on S. Millbend near Acorn Oak in The Woodlands ended when the motorcycle ran off the road, hit a ditch, ejecting the driver and the motorcycle coming to rest in the trees.
DPS is investigating the crash and details of the pursuit are still under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Why did he run?

Two people at Whataburger got into a fight, and the cops wanted to question J. No idea why he ran.

Shame on you mdonn, he's dead and you have the nerve to pull up his records and post it.  Reguardless, two people lost their son….and many more lost a good friend.

I am Timothy Jason Jones' mother and I would like to give you a little more information that you can comment on.

In July 2001, Jason's father had committed suicide.  It turned his life upside down.  If you would like to meet me in public or private, I will give you the entire story if you would like.  Jason did do the things that you printed above when he was 16; it took that long to go to court – but had since turned his life around.  He learned from his mistakes.

Jason had just come home at 1:30 and asked me if I wanted anything from Whataburger.  I have his last receipt which was timed at 1:40 a.m.  Jason was on his way home after the altercation that he tried to STOP at Whataburger.  I think you need to do a little more investigation into the facts and stop trying to pull the past into the present.  Why don't you post your true name and let me pull up things in the past that you have done?  There are more programs than PublicData that will give you more information….I could easily obtain your IP address and find out whatever I wanted to…..

First of all, MDONN, have you ever lost anyone in your life who you dearly loved? Someone you would give anything for? Someone who means the world to you? Do you have any idea how much pain is involved in that? Who do you think you are to post information about someones past when you have no idea who they are, nor do you know the story. How would you feel if your husband or brother died in a fatal crash and "assumtions" or "rumors" were brought into the equasion and someone thought it was their business to bring past situations to the table. You have no respect. You don't know my Jason's story. You don't know how he lived his life. You never knew his heart of gold. So please, the next time you think about posting information on another soul's life, THINK TWICE. How would you feel if you were put into this situation? It is none of your business.

My brother died when I was 18.

My dad died when I was in College.

I put my nephew in jail for burglary, wife's brother for same.

I have PTSD from 2 combat tours. doesn't give me an excuse to drive drunk, shoot up a post office, or break the law in any way.

You can get PublicData. com and look me up.

There are many, but my middle initial is J.

I'm still in the military.

By the way, I have 2 teenagers who have lived with a dad who has gone to war, came home hurt, and has PTSD.

One lettered Academically all 4 years and got a scholarship to Baylor. Was a Highstepper all 4 years.

The other is an A B student and on the track team.

Thanks for wishing one of my kids death. Trust me I have seen lots of death. I've held teenagers in my arms till they died. I watched my dad die for 6 days. Watched a neighbor blow his brains out at the age of 7.

Excuses are like A holes, everyone has one. I'm sorry for your loss, but he was on the wrong track and should have never run, for any reason.

Your grief is real and I know what you feel. I have also seen what it does to a mom. I remember my mom when my brother died.

But to wish one of my children to die, shows what kind of person you are.

why he ran or  his past from 5 yrs ago isn't relevant at this time. What is relevant is that he is  no longer here. he is not here to defend his self against the things you are saying. why would any one want to say things about a deceased person that would ultimately affect the family that is in mourning. If you did not know him on a personal basis or involved in his life how can you say anything at all. Jason was the only one involved in the accident, he did not injure or kill any innocent bystanders. therefore there is no reason to hurt the family any more than we are hurting now. we are not blaming anyone so why does any one feel the need to tarnish his name. Fact is he was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. Who had a heart as big as any one I know. Maybe if you would have attended his services you would have seen exactly what type of person he was. All I'm asking is to let us mourn his death without having to defend him to people that did not even know him personally. Do not hurt our family with your opinions that are based on things that are from the past or things that you hear.

When are you going to stop sending me emails and posting that you think you can find something on me to expose me?

My suggestion. Get off the internet and go grieve.

Why are you putting my kids names all over the internet. Because it's posted? Think about that statement. I didn't post his record, the Courier did.

By the way, Google how many police officers have been killed chasing people who run. My best friend died that way, and I heard it as it happened because I was on duty trying to get to him as he spoke on the radio. Every One on duty heard his last words.

No sympathy here.

You want to go after the Courier, they put his record up. His mom said he was 16 when those happened. Why is his juvie record available?

Bythe way. I've been in a lot of high speed pursuits. Two crashes. In one my partner and I were injured.

I'm sorry a young life was ended, but he was an adult and he made the choice to run. If he hadn't done anything, he should not have run.

Sue the cop for chasing him. Sue the Courier. Hell, sue me for cut and paste.

Best advice, let it go, and move on. All your doing is drawing more attention to his memory and yourself.

I'm done, unless you want to continue.
