At 2:12 a.m. MCSO and emergency personnel were dispatched to the 30700 block of Ginger Trace in the Legends Trace subdivision off of Rayford Road.

The reportee appears to be the daughter of the homeowners.  She ran next door to call 911 when two suspects reportedly broke into the house and assaulted her parents with what initially were thought to be baseball bats.

The daughter and father were transported to Hermann Memorial, The Woodlands.

The third occupant of the house did not survive the assault.
