9-27-11 Just After 11:00 p.m.

Fire department responds to a house fire call on Hilltop Drive in South County.

Caller states they went to the store and came home to find the house on fire.

First units on scene report nothing showing.

After further investigation, the fire department apparently found what they believed to be hazardous materials commonly used in meth labs.  Fire department reported a working meth lab at this location.

Haz-mat teams and possibly MCSO's SIU are en-route to the location.

It was unclear what if anything actually caught fire.
