Just after 8:30 a.m. this morning an "assist other agency" was broadcast.

Apparently an off duty HPD officer reported a robbery at M&M grocery located at 1510 FM 1486, north of Magnolia, Texas.

The HPD officer gave chase but lost the individual.

Other units from MCSO, Pct 5 Constable and Montgomery PD responded to the call.

At some point, a Montgomery PD unit made contact with the suspect on Ben Smith Road. 

The contact resulted in the suspect being shot multiple times in the abdomen.  The contact also resulted in the Montgomery PD officer getting tased several times.

The shots fired call occurs around the six minute mark (60%) of the recording.
