I have a new radio shack pro 197 and able to program most freqs. What is the freq for the law enforcement feed 1 & 2 that I am monitoring on this site?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi Jack

The frequencies for the law enforcement feed 1 are the new digital frequencies which you can find here http://www.radioreference.com/…../?sid=4563 .  Look for montgomery county simulcast and use those frequencies.

Looking further down the page under montgomery county you will find TGID's for MCSO Dispatch 1-5.

The only thing law enforcement #2 monitors is the Conroe PD.

Those frequencies are on the old edacs system and can be found here http://www.radioreference.com/…..db/?sid=58

Look for the Conroe PD TGID.

The edacs system is also used to monitor EMS and some of the fire channels

Heya Jack

I believe I provided the correct locations for the frequencies.

Could you please ask a more specific question then maybe I can help.

Thanks Foz,

I would like to commend you on this site, Its  the best one I have found.

I have downloded the freqs from rr but I have not found the one that match the "law enforcement 1live feeds" on this site. I am monitoring the freqs on my scanner at the same time as montoring your  live feeds. The dispatch 1,2,3,4 and 5 doesn't sound like the same dispachers as your live feeds.

Thanks again,

jack

Heya Jack

The Feeds on the site are delayed approx 30-90 secs from the live broadcast.  This is due to our software and internet latency.

Could that be the issue?  Listen for a specific clip of radio traffic on your scanner then you should hear it on the feed anywhere from 30-90 secs later.

Foz,

You solved the mystery, thats exactly what it was ,the delay and  why the voices sound different between the scanner and computer is because of the speaker  differences between the two. It has been driving ne crazy. Thanks again , this is a great site.
