On October 7, 2010, defendant James Edward Kosak II was charged with two (2) counts of Forgery (US Currency). He currently remains in the Montgomery County Jail on a $60,000 Bond.

On May 31, 2010, 64 year old Veronico M. Trujillo was attacked and shot as he sat in his pick-up truck at the entrance to his home. According to witnesses two males attacked the victim when they came out of a wooded area and began shooting.

Investigators are continuing to process and evaluate evidence involving the shooting that happened on Mill Creek Drive in Montgomery County on May 31, 2010.
The victim has not been able to be interviewed by investigators and suspect descriptions remain vague. A definitive motive has not been determined.
