MCSO Press Release – Weekly Blotter 5-1-12

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 21 year old male from New Waverly was arrested at 7:00pm, April 23, and taken to jail from an area on I-45 near Shepherd Hill Road by Sgt. E. Ward for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County Public Court Records.  The male was being detained by Walker County S.O.

On April 24, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 100 block of County Line Road.  During the investigation a small amount of methamphetamine was located. The 38 year old male driver from New Waverly was arrested at 9:28pm and taken to jail.

On April 26, Deputy J. West was sent to the 17800 block of Hwy 105E in reference to an intoxicated female staggering down the roadway.  The Deputy located the female and detained her.  The 19 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 5:20am and taken to jail.

On April 26, Deputy S. Degner was sent to a suspicious person call in the area of Andromeda Court and Centaurus Court. A male was seen walking around trying to pick fights with any individual he came in contact with.  The Deputy located the male and found him to be intoxicated. The 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:15pm and taken to jail.

On April 27, Deputy C. Santoro was on a warrant service at a residence on Black Gum. The Deputy spoke with a male on location who reported that the female that was wanted did not live there anymore and did not know where she had moved. The Deputy located the female hiding inside the residence.

A 35 year old male from Willis was arrested at 5:01am, April 27, and taken to jail from a residence on Squirrel Tree Road by Deputy J. West for three traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 1.  The Deputy was on a warrant service.

A 40 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 10:26pm, April 27, and taken to jail from the 3600 block of Woodpeckers Grove by Deputy J. Bourne for four traffic warrants out of JP 2 Montgomery County.  The male was stopped on a traffic violation.

On April 28, Deputy K. Berger responded to a residence on Birdie Road in reference to a family violence assault.  The Deputy met with a male and a female complainant who were the parents of the suspect. The suspect pushed his mother and then assaulted his father.  The 17 year old male was arrested at 1:11pm and transported to jail.

A 31 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:26pm, April 28, and taken to jail from a residence on Oakmoss Lane by Deputy C. Sullivent for a driving while license invalid warrant out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance.

A 40 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 9:18pm, April 28, and taken to jail from a residence on FM 1485 by Deputy S. Squier for three traffic warrants out of Oak Ridge. The Deputy was investigating a theft call.

A 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:00pm, April 29, and taken to jail from the 9600 block of Wildwood by Deputy K. Berger for three traffic warrants out of JP 1 Montgomery County. The Deputy observed the male sitting inside a vehicle with a damaged steering column.

On April 29, Deputy S. Squier was notified of a trespass call at a residence on Lakeside Drive. The Deputy located a male still on the property that had refused to leave after numerous times being told to do so by the homeowner.  The male was told to leave by the Deputy and refused. The 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested and taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On 04-25-12 at approximately 0830, Deputy Fruge responded to a disturbance in progress on Riley Fuzzel Rd.  Upon his arrival, he met with the involved parties.  While speaking with a white male from Tomball, he was determined to be intoxicated.  He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-26-12 at approximately 2351, Deputy Mathis was on patrol near the intersection of Hanna & Cox Rd.  He observed a male from Spring run across the roadway.  The deputy found that the subject had outstanding warrants.

On 04-29-12 at approximately 0203, Deputy Logan received a call for service at a bar on Sawdust Rd.  While on scene, he observed a white male asleep in his vehicle.  The deputy was eventually able to wake the suspect.  It was determined that the subject was intoxicated.  He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-22-12 Deputy Fruge observed two males standing in a parking lot in the 200 blk of Sawdust Rd and both were holding a can of beer.  Upon contact, it was determined the subjects were intoxicated.  They were arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-28-12 at approximately 0045, Deputy Dowell was on patrol when he observed a male riding a bicycle near the intersection of Rayford Rd. & Wild Rose.  Upon contact with the subject, he was checked for warrants.  It was determined that the subject was wanted.  He was arrested under the warrant and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-08-12 at approximately 0423, Deputy Zavorski responded to an assault/ family violence on Garrison Run Dr.  Upon arrival, he met with the parties involved.  Though the investigation it was determined that the husband had threatened the wife with bodily harm.  The husband was arrested for Assault by threat (family violence) and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-20-12 at approximately 1849, Deputy Mathis responded to the 1000 blk. of Sawdust Rd. in reference to a theft.  Upon arrival, it was learned that a female from Huntsville was shoplifting.  She was arrested for theft and transported to MCSO Jail.

On 04-21-12 at approximately 2300, Sgt. Russell conducted a traffic stop in the 17000 blk. of St. Lukes Way.  Upon contact with the driver, a white female from Kingwood, it was determined she was intoxicated.  A firearm was found inside the car.  The female was arrested for DWI & unlawful carrying of a weapon by license holder and she was transported to MCSO Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 4/25/12 Deputy Gratz was dispatched to a residence on Pinedale in reference to a welfare check.  Upon his arrival he located a female that had an active warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Upon arresting the female he found methamphetamine in her purse.  A male subject on location gave a fictitious name and was later found to have an active warrant for Burglary of a Building.  The male suspect, a 27 year old from New Caney was arrested for the warrant and additionally charged with Failure to Identify.  The female suspect, a 24 year old from Splendora was arrested and charged with an additional count of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 4/26/12 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to return merchandise from inside of the store without first paying.  The suspect also had a criminal trespass warning for that location.  The suspect was issued a citation for theft and was arrested for Criminal Trespass.  The suspect, a 47 year old female from Spring was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

On 4/26/12 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to steal $78 worth of merchandise.  The suspect, a 21 year old male from Humble was arrested and charged with Theft.

On 4/26/12 Deputy T. Smith was dispatched to the 23000 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a vehicle on fire.  Upon arrival the Deputy observed the vehicle owner laughing and smiling while watching his vehicle burning.  The male appeared extremely intoxicated.  Marijuana was found in the suspect’s pocket.  The suspect, a 24 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana.

On 4/27/12 Deputy Logan was dispatched to the 23000 block of FM 1485 in reference to a disturbance.  Upon his arrival he met with one of the parties in the disturbance and methamphetamine was found in his pocket.  The suspect, a 31 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 4/27/12 Deputy Logan was dispatched to Fostoria Rd. in reference to a disturbance.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had threatened several people.  The suspect, a 46 year old male from Cleveland was arrested.

On 4/28/12 Deputy Evans was dispatched to Holly Ln. in reference to an Assault Family Violence. As they were investigating they observed the suspect driving near the residence.  After administering field sobriety tests the 50 year old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On 4/29/12 Deputy Sieck was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for $104 worth of merchandise.  The suspect, a 24 year old female from Porter was arrested and charged with Theft and an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant.

On 4/30/12 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft.  Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for $57 worth of merchandise.  The suspect, a 28 year old female from Porter was arrested and charged with Theft.

Warrants Served

On 4/25/12 Deputy Gratz arrested a 30 year old male from Porter for a theft warrant.

On 4/26/12 Deputy Sherlock arrested a 26 year old female from Cleveland for a several outstanding traffic warrants.

On 4/27/12 Deputy McCord arrested a 28 year old male from New Caney for several outstanding traffic warrants.

On 4/27/12 Deputy McCord arrested a 47 year old male from Porter for a Blue Warrant.

On 4/28/12 Deputy McCord arrested a 17 year old female from Conroe for a Contempt of Court warrant.

On 4/30/12 Deputy Jackson arrested a 20 year old male from New Caney for a Failure to Appear warrant.

On 4/30/12 Deputy Burk arrested a 24 year male from Porter for two traffic related warrants.

On 5/1/12 Deputy Amstutz arrested a 26 year old female from Kingwood for a Child Endangerment warrant.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On April 30th Deputy Brummett while on patrol observed a vehicle driving north bound on FM 1774 with no headlights.  The Deputy pulled the vehicle over and made contact with a 27 year old female.  While speaking with the subject the Deputy observed her to have slurred speech.  The subject failed the Field Sobriety Test and refused to give breath or blood.  Deputy Brummett placed the subject into Custody for DWI and transported her to Montgomery County Jail.

On April 29th Deputy Allen was dispatched to Cherokee Drive in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival Deputy Allen made contact with a 37 year old male.   After checking the subject through Dispatch it was found the subject had an outstanding warrant for Capias Pro Fine.  After confirming the warrant, Deputy Allen placed the subject into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 29th Sergeant Peckne observed a passenger car traveling north on Highland Blvd displaying an expired Motor Vehicle Registration.  The Sergeant conducted a traffic stop and approached the driver of the car.  Then the subject advised that he had never been issued a license.   Due to the subject not having a license a wrecker was called to tow his vehicle.  A container was found in the car with a few small plastic zip lock bags containing marijuana.  After a field test was conducted and confirmed the substance was marijuana. The subject was taken in to custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 28th Deputy Brummett was dispatched to Bunny Lane in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival the Deputy met with a 49 year old female. The subject had been drinking at a friend’s house and refused to leave and she could not speak clearly.  The subject tried to walk away from the Deputy, nearly falling over.  The Subject was placed into custody for Public Intoxication.

On April 27th Sergeant Peckne was dispatched to Pinehurst Loop in reference to a 34 year old male trespassing.  Upon arrival Stagecoach Officer Swetnam had detained the subject and advised the Sergeant the subject had been carrying a small stuff animal.  The Sergeant examined the stuffed animal and located a plastic zip lock bag with three smaller bags inside.  The substance inside was field tested and found to be methamphetamine.   The subject also had an active Felony warrant out of Harris County for Possession of Controlled Substance.  Prior to transport the subject was searched and found to be in possession of a stolen credit card.  An additional felony charge was added to his arrest record for Debit/Credit Card Abuse.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

April 25th Deputy Jackson responded to Beachwalk Blvd. in regards to an Assault. Officers learned that a male and female had been involved in a physical altercation when the female was injured. The male subject was located by officers and arrested for Assault and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 25th Deputy Pugh was dispatched to Fantasy Ln. in regards to a Disturbance. Officers discovered where a male and female had been involved in a verbal altercation in the home and now the intoxicated female was outside creating a disturbance with neighbors. The female was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 26th Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 11000 block of FM 149N. Upon making contact with the male driver it was learned the subject was driving with an invalid license and also had outstanding local warrants. The subject was arrested for Driving While License Invalid along with the Warrants and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

April 27th Deputy Garlock responded to Forest West Dr. in regards to an Assault. Officers determined that a male and female were involved in an altercation and the male was assaulted. The female was cited for Assault (Family Violence) and the case has been referred to JP-2 for prosecution.

April 29th Deputy Fluellen was dispatched to a vehicle disturbance in the 18900 block of FM 1097 W. Upon arrival to the area officers found an intoxicated male walking along the roadway. It was determined that the male had been a passenger in a vehicle and had been involved in a disagreement with the driver when the passenger opened the door and jumped out of the moving car. The suspect suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment. The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On April 23 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Deputy Evans was dispatch to Wood Lilly in reference to a parking violation.  Deputy Evans made contact with the vehicle owner to have the vehicle moved so as not to impede traffic.  While speaking with the owner, Deputy Evans observed the 18 year old male from the Woodlands, to have marijuana sticking out of his pocket.  The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 24 at approximately 11:20 p.m. Deputy Veith observed a vehicle sitting in a moving lane of traffic on Waterway Square and Lake Robbins and went to check on the welfare of the occupants.  Upon approaching the vehicle, Deputy Veith was able to smell the odor of marijuana.  The driver, a 26 year old male from Houston, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana.  The passengers, both 26 years old and also from Houston, were both charged with Possession of Marijuana.

Deputy Curtis was dispatched to Holly Creek Court on April 25 at approximately 1:40 p.m. for a Disturbance.  Deputy Curtis identified the suspect, and a check with dispatch found the suspect, a 20 year old male from Spring, had an outstanding warrant for Evading Arrest or Detention.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Deputy Cogdill arrested a 28 year old male from The Woodlands, on April 25 at 9:30 p.m.  The suspect was arrested for outstanding warrants after Deputy Cogdill checked his identification.  Deputy Cogdill was conducting a check of the park when he observed the suspect and a friend consuming alcoholic beverages in the park on Shadowbend.

On April 26 at approximately 11 p.m. Deputy Prince conducted at traffic stop in the area of Lake Robbins and IH-45.  During the course of the investigation, the driver was found to have a suspended license.  The driver was allowed to call a friend to pick her up.  Upon arrival of the second driver, Deputy Prince spoke with him and determined that he was too intoxicated to drive.  The suspect, a 42 year old male from Fulshear, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 27 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Deputy O’Connor responded to a Shoplifter in Custody call at 3040 College Park Drive.  The suspect, a 25 year old male from Conroe, attempted to take $94.10 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.  The suspect was charged with Theft and an outstanding warrant, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 27 at 8:25 p.m. Deputy Eisenmenger conducted a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway.  The driver stated he did not have his license with him, but did give Deputy Eisenmenger identifying information.  The driver, a 38 year old male from Conroe, was found to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended driver’s license.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 27 at 11:30 p.m. Deputy Prince conducted at traffic stop on a vehicle travelling without headlights on Lake Robbins Drive.  The driver, a 38 year old male from Shenandoah, was found to be intoxicated.  The suspect was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 28 at 10:13 p.m. Deputy Sharman was dispatched to a Suspicious Vehicle call on Largo Woods Place.  As Deputy Sharman approached the vehicle, he could smell the odor of burnt marijuana.  One of the occupants, a 17 year old male from The Woodlands, stated that the marijuana in the vehicle was his.  The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.  The other three occupants were either released at the scene or released to a parent.

On April 29 at approximately 4:50 a.m. Deputy Breeze conducted at Traffic Stop on Woodlands Parkway.  The driver, a 22 year old male from Spring, was found to have nine outstanding warrants for his arrest.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
