Saturday night at approximately 11:30 PM a call came in for a boating accident on the north end of Lake Conroe. The initial call was to MCSO to locate access to the lake off of Old Stubblfield Rd. South of FM 1375. Rescue boats were launched and at first rescue personel had a difficult time locating the boat despite the fact that the boat was launching flares.

Radio traffic was difficult to pick up because of the far north position. It appeared that an accident occured boat vs. land. Initial reports were for four victims, two being urgent. No AMP was put on standby and the radio traffic was to a minimum after the boat was finally located south of the FM 1375 bridge.
