MCSO Press Release – Shooting Investigation – East County (Updated)

County Monitor Website on 04-19-2012 a Home Invasion Robbery occurred in the 21000 block of Russell Drive. Detectives from the Montgomery County Major Crimes Unit worked throughout the day and into the night examining evidence and conducting interviews.

Detectives identified possible suspects and tracked them to the Motel 8 in Humble, Texas at US 59 and F.M. 1960.

During the investigation detectives found that suspect Adrian Nathaniel Comstock DOB: 03-30-1983 was wanted for Felony Theft out of Montgomery County.

During interviews Comstock implemented himself and several others in the planning and execution of the Robbery.

Comstock was arrested on the outstanding warrant and was also charged with Aggravated Robbery stemming from last night’s home invasion on Russell Drive.

Patricia Lynn Hickman DOB: 05-23-1955 of Spring was also charged with Aggravated Robbery and taken to jail.

More arrests are expected.

Original Press ReleaseDeputies arrived at a home on Russell Drive shortly after 2 AM this morning and found that the homeowner, a 59 year old female and a 65 year old male companion both had been shot during a robbery attempt.

The female victim was taken by Life Flight to Herman Hospital in Houston with wounds to her neck and arm and the male victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with gunshot wounds to his back and shoulder.

Two suspects fled on foot from the home and have not been apprehended and there are no descriptions available at this time and investigators have not been able to determine if anything was taken from the home.

The investigation is underway and investigators believe that the female victim fired several shots at the suspects with a pistol as the suspect(s) fired several rounds with a shotgun.  It is not known if the suspects were injured.

Montgomery County Major Crimes and Crime Scene investigators are conducting the investigation and detailed information is not available at this time.
