On Monday, 10/17/11, at 4:22 pm, a Conroe Police Officer was involved in a short vehicle pursuit in the Southeast section of the city. During the pursuit, the Officer and the suspect vehicle came to a stop. The Officer exited his vehicle, at which time the suspect vehicle reversed and struck the officer’s patrol car. [...]

After returning a guilty verdict in thirty minutes, a Montgomery County Jury took a mere 23 minutes to sentence to six life sentences.  Judge Michael Seiler imposed the sentences which will run concurrently.  Mr. Meachum will serve 30 real years before he becomes eligible for parole.
